Chapter VIII: Year I: Spring Break, Enter Calypso Alissa

"Allo...LAZBRIL!" Ah yes, the southern nation of LAZBRIL. This would be the city where Owen would spend his vacation with his friends Mako, Bolin, Asami and Korra. With a special guest: Akko Kagari. After countless begging from Akko, Owen finally bended and let the magical witch in training come with him on his vacation during spring break.

Lazbril was structured in a way that was truly stunning. The location had over 300 beaches and 150 hidden locations filled with mysterious artifacts and a folklore about a vase that held within an ancient Primal spirit, that, should anyone find the vase and set him free, would become the Primal's host. "Wow...This place is amazing!" Akko was stunned by the beauty of Lazbril. She had never seen a place so majestic. Given where she came from and all.

Korra rolled her eyes. "You just HAD to bring her, didn't you?" Korra hated the idea that Owen would bring a Girl from Luna Nova on HIS adventures with HIS friends. On top of that, when Korra met Akko, she sensed that Akko was somehow in love with Owen! The way they talked to each other and cared for each other, it was like they were treating Korra, Mako and Bolin as though they were never there.

"I didn't have a choice." Said Owen, "Akko begged me. She wouldn't leave me alone about coming with me. So I bent. Okay?"

"Bringing a person WE don't know on OUR adventures is a violation to our friendship, Owen." Said Korra

"Since when?"

"Since now."

"Uh..." Mako looks at Asami, "We're gonna go our own way now." Said Mako as he and Asami slowly backed away from the others. "You guys have a good time."

"Yeah...Imma go too." Said Bolin as he slowly backed away from Owen, Akko and Korra. "You three have fun and we'll meet up two days before spring break ends. Okay?-Okay...Bye...~" Owen raises an eyebrow when he noticed Mako, Asami and Bolin going off to do their own thing. Before Asami was in the picture and Akko for that matter, Owen and Korra, Mako and Bolin, they would hang out together. He assumed that this is what happens when Change is involved.

"So where do we start on our spring break Adventure?" Asked Akko

"Let's start with throwing you into the Ocean with the sharks." Korra rudely suggested

"But I don't like Sharks!" Akko whined

"Korra!" Owen called

"What?"

"Behave." He said, "Honestly, you've been acting weird lately. Do you mind telling me why?"

"I don't have to put up with this." Korra said as she storms off

"Where are you going!?" Asked Owen

"I'm not being the third wheel of whatever the hell is between you and Akko, cacphe!?" She said while continuing walking away, "We'll meet up later! When SHE'S not around!"

"Korra! Korra!" Owen called out to her, but she kept walking away from him.

"I don't know what her problem is." Said Akko, "I'm the one who asked to hang out with you this Spring Break and you agreed. So why is everyone breaking up into groups of their own and not hanging out with us?"

Owen sighed. "I think it's the wind of change." He said, 'And I honestly don't like it.'

Throughout the past few days, the group of friends would get together and go on adventures. Akko, despite Korra's resentment towards the girl, only allowed her to come with them because of Owen. It didn't help, however, that Akko would get herself in danger or touch something that she shouldn't have touched. Which would force Owen to protect her. Korra was seething in jealousy as she watched how Akko wrapped her polished fingernails around Owen's body.
