Chapter X: Year II [Part II]

"Welcome to Magical Spirit Summoning!" A woman with long fiery hair said with spunk and energy in her voice. "My name is Du'Strange Lu'Karva! I will be the teacher of this class for you, the current second year students." Du'Strange was an elegant and beautiful woman. A cloak made of phoenix feathers along with her hat were her styles of clothing, with angel white stockings and angel white boots. "Now then, who can tell me what Magical Summoning is? Anyone?"

Diana raised her hand, "It is the summoning of a spirit using magic."

"That is correct Ms. Cavendish!" Said Du'Strange, "And that is what we'll be learning how to master in under One year! And since you answered correctly Ms. Cavendish, you get to choose who you would like to demonstrate this skill! Go on, don't be shy, it can be anyone you choose!"

"Anyone...You say?" Diana giggles before looking upward at where Owen was sitting.

"No you wouldn't." Said Owen

"Oh yes I would." Diana giggles again. "I choose Owen Oshua to give us a demonstration while you guide him to summoning any being of choice."

"I agree!" Said Hannah

"Yeah! After all, gentlemen first, right!?" Barbra added

'I got a feeling that they know they're not helping the situation.' Owen thought, sighing, getting up and making his way down to the center stage of the classroom.

"You got this Owen!" Lotte shouts

"Summon a dragon so it can test your strength!" Said Sucy

"Don't be shy now, Owen!" Akko shouts, cheering for him, "You can do this!"

When Owen took center stage, he stood in the middle of the stage, surrounded by water. 'So this is the Owen Oshua I've heard so much about.' If anyone would notice, it was obvious that Du'Strange Luv'Karva was the fourth member of the Insidious Coven. She had magical abilities that allowed her to use metamorphosis magic to change her appearance. That meant that how Du'Strange looked now, wasn't how she TRULY looked. 'He doesn't look like much.' She thought as she looked the boy up and down, 'But then...His grandfather appeared in the same manner.' behind her cloak, Du'Strange poured the soul of the Primal spirit out of the Vase called the Vase of the Primes. 'This demonstration should determine whether this boy is weaker or stronger than his ancestor' She giggled to herself. "Now then, close your eyes...Clasped your hands together. And concrete on the being you wish to call upon."

"Uh...Okay..." Owen obeyed. The moment he followed Du'Strange's orders, he began to power up. "Nrgh..." His growls came from whatever was within the water that was trying to possess him. The second year witches thought he was trying to summon something that was possibily out of his reach. But that wasn't the case... "Nrgh...Ra...agh..." Something was wrong, the water turned cosmic and the grounds began to shake.

"What is he pulling at!?" Amanda asked her classmates

"It looks as though whatever Owen's pulling at is trying to possess him!" Said Amy

"And he's fighting it back!" Said Sakura, "But what spirit or being is trying to control him!?"

"Nrgh...Haugh...RRRRRRRRAAAAAAAUUUUUGGGGGHHHH...!!!" A spirit of a Cosmic Great Ape emerged from the waters and out of Owen's body

'He defied the Primal's spirit posession!' Du'Strange was shocked by this turn of events. Given that she as well as the other members of the Insidious Coven heard the rumors of this mysterious creature that was greatly feared by the Lazbrilians. 'Impossible! The legend states that if the soul of the Primal was poured out of its vase then the person who freed the soul would be possessed! So how...Of course...I should have known...He is the descendant of Edwin Oshua!'
