The next day, Jimin woke up early, determined to make amends. He prepared a breakfast spread, hoping it would serve as a peace offering. When Airene walked out of her room, she didn't even glance his way, her expression a cold mask of indifference. Jimin quickly stepped in her path, gently grabbing her wrist. "Please, have breakfast with me," he pleaded, his voice soft yet firm. She tried to pull away, but he locked her in between his arms, her back pressing against the table. "Move away," she yelled, frustration clear in her tone. He leaned in closer, his face mere inches from hers, his voice dropping to a seductive whisper. "Eat, then I'll let you go."

Airene glared at him, the irritation evident in her eyes, but she could see he wasn't going to back down. Sighing in exasperation, she surrendered and sat down to eat. Jimin sat across from her, watching as she reluctantly took a bite. As they ate in silence, Jimin finally broke the tension. "I'll send you to work and pick you up today."Airene's fork clattered against her plate as she set it down. "There's no need for that," she snapped. "I have my own car."

Jimin leaned back, crossing his arms with a smirk. "If you don't obey me, I'll sleep beside you in bed tonight." Her eyes widened in annoyance, and she huffed in frustration. "Fine," she muttered, rolling her eyes. "Do whatever you want." Jimin watched her, a mixture of relief and sadness in his eyes. He knew he was pushing boundaries, but he felt it was the only way to break through the wall she had built around herself.

As they finished breakfast, the air between them remained thick with unresolved tension, but for the first time in days, they were at least sharing a meal together. The drive to work was quiet. Airene stared out the window, lost in her thoughts, while Jimin focused on the road, occasionally glancing her way. When they arrived, she got out of the car without a word, heading into the building without looking back. Jimin watched her go, a heavy feeling settling in his chest. He had no idea how to fix things between them, but he wasn't ready to give up.

As the day went on, he couldn't concentrate on his work, his mind constantly drifting back to Airene and the wall of silence between them. That evening, he waited for her outside her office, just as he had promised. When she emerged, he got out of the car and opened the door for her. She slid in, still silent, and he drove them home. As they walked into the house, Jimin couldn't shake the feeling that things were about to change. He just hoped it would be for the better.

Three days passed in a tense but predictable routine. Each morning, Jimin prepared breakfast and drove Airene to work. In the evenings, he picked her up and cooked dinner. Airene hated this imposed arrangement, but she complied reluctantly, unable to change the situation. Jimin knew he was going against her wishes, but this was the only way he could spend more time with her, even if they barely spoke. One late night, as Airene slept, Jimin's phone rang. The name on the screen brought a rare smile to his face: Jeon Jungkook, an old friend from LA." Jimin hyung, I'm sorry I couldn't come for your wedding," Jungkook's familiar voice came through. "It's alright, Kook," Jimin replied, trying to keep his voice low to avoid waking Airene. "How have you been?"

"Good, good. But forget about me. How's married life treating you?" Jungkook asked with a hint of concern. Jimin sighed, the weight of his troubles evident in his tone. "Honestly, it's not good. We're struggling." There was a pause on the other end, then Jungkook's voice turned serious. "I'm sorry to hear that, hyung. Listen, I'm coming to Seoul soon. I got a new job in Korea, so I'll be around. Maybe I can help you out somehow." Jimin felt a glimmer of hope. Jungkook had always been resourceful and supportive. "That would be great, Kook. I could really use a friend right now."

"We'll figure it out, hyung. I'll see you soon. Take care," Jungkook reassured him before hanging up. Jimin sat in the dimly lit room, his thoughts racing. Having Jungkook around might be the support he needed to navigate this difficult time. He glanced towards the bedroom where Airene slept, her face turned away from him. The barrier between them seemed insurmountable, but he was determined to find a way through it. For now, all he could do was wait for Jungkook's arrival and hope that together, they could find a solution.
