"It was two weeks ago today at West Valley High, where what can only be described as an all-out karate riot caught students and faculty off guard, sending shock waves through the Valley."
𝐒𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐎𝐍 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐃sat in the living room watching the news cast. It had been two weeks since the fight at West Valley High. Which to Scarlett, felt more like a month. She was mentally and emotionally drained. She spent most of her days at home in bed snuggling with Robby's tee shirt, worrying about him, and why she hasn't heard from him.
The cuts above her knee have heeled, but serve as a constant reminder of what happened. Scarlett herself had been dealing with her own trauma, after the fight. Sometimes, during the night, she would wake up screaming from horrible nightmares.
Scarlett stood in front of her mirror taking in her appearance raising the hem of her sundress, looking at the scar on her knee. A knock was heard at the door, and she pushed the dress down. "Come in." she called
Sharon smiled as she opened the door. "Hi honey, are you sure you're feeling okay? If you need to stay home for a little longer, you can. Your father and I don't mind."
"I'll be alright mama." Scarlett said as she placed her cardigan over her shoulder. "I'm gonna have to face them sooner or later, so it might as well be now."
Sharon sighed as she brought her daughter in for an embrace, and kissed her temple. "If it gets to be too much, call your father and I."
"I promise." Scarlett smiled. "I promised Sam I would stop by and pick her up."
"All right. Give Sam my best, and have the best day at school." Sharon smiled. "I love you my darling."
"I love you too, mama." Scarlett smield
Scarlett walked down the stairs, then grabbed her keys off the table, and walked out the door, and got in her mustang and drove towards Encino towards the LaRusso house. Upon arriving at the LaRusso house, she saw Daniel and Amanda were already gone, but Sam was still there, so she parked her car next to Sam's. Getting out of her mustang, she walked up the walkway, and walked in the house, up the stairs, where she found Sam looking at her reflection in the mirror.
"Hey hon. Are you ready?" Scarlett asked
Sam smiled softly, then replied, "Yeah, I'm ready." she said as she put on her cardigan and the two walked down the stairs "Are you nervous?" she asked as she and her best friend got in the mustang and drove towards the high school
