13:Some Family Time

"What happened?"We ran towards kitchen and there Maddy was jumping holding his palm.

"I burned myself with hot water.Aaaoo!"He shrieked and i chuckled.
"Ek kaam nhi hota Maddy tumse."

Taking some honey from the jar i applied it on his red knuckles and he hissed like a baby. "Gently Candyfloss!"

"Good night guys!"Harsh bhaiya yawned and I wished him back"Good night bhaiya!"

"Good night!"Maddy too smiled while i was spreading honey properly on his knuckles.

A string of my hair was continuously dangling infront of my eyes,irritating me when Maddy raised his other palm and tucked it behind my ear.I felt his strong gaze on me while i continued to blew air on his blemished skin.

Why is he staring at me like that?

"Done!"I moved back suddenly and he broke his gaze abruptly.

"Thankyou!"He uttered and i smiled a little at him.For the first time i was feeling a little uncomfortable with him.

"Goodnight!See you in the morning."I spoke hastily and turned when he held my palm,"Black coffee tou pee lo." His voice was little hoarse which made me really uncomfortable.

"No!Ab mera dil nhi ho raha."Without turning I jerked his palm and left the kitchen.

As i moved towards the stairs I found Manik talking to someone on the phone outside our room.

I don't know what got into me and I ran towards him.

" Nandani araam se."He shouted as his eyes caught me skipping stairs while coming up.

"Manik!"In no time I hugged him and he doddered a step back due to the sudden force.

"I'll talk to you later Mr.Eshaan.Let's have a meeting tomorrow.Ohk!See you then."He cancelled the call.His arms wrapped around my waist firmly.

"Kia hua?"He caressed my hair gently as i snoozed in his chest finding my comfort.

I heard someone climbing stairs and I knew who it was.My hold on Manik tightened and i buried my face in his chest more.Manik's ferocious eyes were on Maddy.

Maddy went into his room ignoring us and Manik broke the hug.

"What happened?Did he do something?"Traces of anger evident in his eyes.

The way Maddy held my hand didn't feel good!

"I am asking something Nandani!Answer me!"He shook my shoulders breaking my trance.

"Tum tou Harsh k sath thi na neeche phir ye Madhyam kahan se aagaya?"He asked angrily and i licked my dry lips before answering,"Wo he came to make himself a cup of black coffee."

"Then?Are you hiding something from me?Kuch kiya hai us ne.Main chorunga nhi use."He growled and was about to go towards Maddy's room when I pulled his collars towards mine.

"Kuch nhi hua."I smiled.

I can't share it with him.Wese hi ye Maddy par bohot gussa hain aur maine inse kuch kaha tou phir baat aur bigar jayegi.Mughe khud Maddy se baat karni hogi.

"You are lying?"He peeped into my eyes and I looked here and there being nervous.

"No I'm not.Wo aap mughe ice-cream k liye le gaye na tou isliye main apko thankyou bol rahi thi."I played with his shirt button and he narrowed his eyes more at me.
