Concerned fans in New York and upcoming tour locations,

Please know our upcoming shows are not cancelled. We have a very talented guest joining us on the electric violin for the remainder of the tour. Please join us in wishing Hazel a quick recovery, she can never be replaced but we think you'll like her substitute!

The next day was spent much like the first, rehearsing their set continuously, putting out fires Leo managed to set, and Nico learning the choreography. It wasn't really dancing per say, more like movements about the stage and how to avoid all the taped down power cords as he did so.

The day had moved at a snail's pace, his nerves holding time hostage so he had the maximum amount of time to stress about his first performance with The Seven. And his first performance on a tour stage. The band had done well to keep him distracted, even if it was by goading him into playing various instruments or a few games of cards between rehearsal runs.

Everyone knew Nico never lost a card game.

But now he was standing backstage peeking out the crowd filtering into the stadium. The tape of his talk back mic irritated his skin, they'd originally taped it low on his left cheek and he'd had to patiently explain that that's where his violin's chin rest would go. Unfortunately, untaping it had led to a trip back to the make-up van for a touch up.

His eye liner looked hot as fuck though, and Nico had shamelessly sent a mirror selfie to Will earlier. He'd been dressed up in black cargo pants slung low on his hip, midriff exposed where the black crop ended below his sternum. Silver necklaces were layered at his neck, including his guitar pick. He'd foregone the rings he'd been suggested, too difficult to play with, he'd even removed his ANGEL ring - not wanting to risk any one in the crowd having a keener eye than his oblivious friends.

He continued to watch the crowd trickle in until his ringtone drove him from his anxious spiralling.

"Hey Sunshine." He greeted as he accepted the call, Will's face popping up on the screen.

"Have I told you how much I love your makeup?" Will said.

"You may have mentioned it." Nico smiled.

"How are you feeling?"

"Distract me." Nico requested in answer, flipping the camera to show the ever growing crowd.

"Wow, big crowd." Will commented, leaning closer to the camera.

"Sometimes I forget that you're like super famous and have gone on bigger tours than this." Nico admitted.

"So? I still get nervous." He said, "It was weird without you today. Hedge brought in two instrumentalists, Cecil and Chiara, for recording elements of the last four songs of my album - since you won't get back in time for my deadline..."

"I'm still sorry about that, this all happened so suddenly...I really didn't want to leave you in the lurch." Nico apologised.

"It's okay." Will reassured, and when Nico still looked sceptical, "I swear it's fine Nico, I've seen how much you love performing at Open Mics, you're born for the stage. This opportunity is perfect for you, and Cecil and Chiara are great musicians - not as great as you, but no one is - my songs are in good hands."
