Episode 3: Bridges

The three slowly step forward, Dez squeezes his fists before slamming them together, causing purple dust energy to flow over his arms, and his eyes briefly flicker red. As Scarlett slowly steps forward purple electricity flows up all over her body, as she flourishes her blade again.

Grau throws his cloak behind his shoulders revealing his fully armored body. Before too long, hundreds of Grimm start to leap out from the trees, once they lay eyes upon the warriors their eyes turn from a glowing yellow to blood red and they roar. Hundreds of Beowolfs crawl on all fours to begin their attack. Grau holds his shield before his face, blocking the first attack from a Beowolf. Sparks fly from the shield onto the floor, before Grau slashes upward and immediately chops the monster's arm clean off its body, before in one swift movement he beheads the beast. He kicks the oily corpse back before continuing his assault.

Dez throws his fist forward. As soon as it makes contact with a Grimm the beast practically explodes, spreading Grimm blood all over the fields. He throws a mighty uppercut, lugging a beowolf's head clean off its shoulders.

Scarlett leaps from opponent to opponent, cleaving a Beowolf's torso open, before she elegantly leaps to a Boarbatusk and stabs the Dadao into its skull, killing it instantly. She uses the blood of the previous Grimm to blind another Beowolf, before immediately cleaving it into four quarters and leaping through the bloody pieces to continue her relentless but visually spectacular assault.

Olive connects some wires and continues trying to quickly program a bomb to explode on demand, however, the constant rumbling of battle a few feet ahead wasn't helping.

Desmond throws his fist forward and punches clean through a Beowolf before he grabs both ends of the beast and tears it in half. He then starts smashing other Grimm with the two pieces of a Beowolf, roaring with sheer blind fury as he does. Grau blocks another attack from a Beowolf, and just as he is about to attack in return, he is smashed in the side by a Boarbatusk. Grau rolls to his feet, before blocking another attack from the boar Grimm, he's just barely able to hold it back before he thrusts himself forward, sending the boar flying toward Desmond.

"HEADS UP!" Grau shouts, before ducking under a swipe from a Beowulf and stabbing his sword through it. Desmond catches the Grimm and immediately tears its horns off, before punting the beast into the face of an Ursa.

After a while of fighting, the almost endless horde of Grimm starts pushing the three back toward the bridge. Scarlett notices this and looks for a way out as she continues slaughtering Grimm. She looks up and sees another massive Nevermore flying toward them.

"BULL BOY!" Scarlett yells, destroying her Dadao and removing her Naginata from her back as the purple lightning flows back into her chest. "THROW ME AT THAT NEVERMORE!" She shouts.

Dez grunts at the nickname Scarlett had given him before tearing the bottom jaw off an Ursa. He leans down, giving Scarlett a platform to stand on in the form of his hand before hurling her through the air, giving her a massive boost with gravity dust. Scarlett flies through the air, before jamming the tip of her spear into the skull of the Nevermore, immediately embattling herself with the flying Grimm.

Grau parries an attack from a large Beowolf, before splitting it down the middle, he blocks a few more attacks before leaping back and standing next to Dez as they both try their best to fight off the massive horde of Grimm.

"DESMOND!" Grau shouts over the constant roaring of Grimm.

"IF YA WANT ME TO THROW YOU TOO YOU'RE SHIT OUTTA LUCK!" Dez yells back, as he smashes a Boarbatusk under his boot.

"NO, I WANT YOU TO USE YOUR GRAVITY DUST TO PUSH THEM BACK. I NEED SOME SPACE!" Grau shouts as he cleaves his sword through a Beowolf. Dez looks down at Grau for a second before he winds his hands back.
