Grau gives his relic to one of the teachers at the front gate. Dez reached into his pocket to get the relic, only to find that it was gone. He checks his other pockets to be sure, only to see Scarlett dropping the chess piece into the hand of the mustachioed teacher. Dez glares down at Scarlett before rolling his eyes and walking away. Scarlett flicks her hair behind her before she spots the girls she spoke to the other day waving to her. She stores her naginata on her lower back and jogs toward the group. As Dez walks along the pathway, he spots a woman with long red hair in a ponytail, she is dressed in beautiful golden armor and her weapons are stored on her back. But there was one weapon on her person that pierced Desmond's heart more effectively than any sword... That smile on her face... For the first time, Desmond was completely and utterly frozen by the woman. It wasn't until her beautiful green eyes fell upon him that he realized he was staring at her. His silver eyes dart away, but the woman simply giggles to herself, hiding her mouth as she does. Before too long the loudspeakers activate, and the voice of Ms. Goodwitch can be heard.

"All students gather in the Ceremony hall for Team assignments immediately." she commands. Dez groans to himself before looking back toward the redhead from before, only to find that she has disappeared into the ocean of other students. Desmond takes a deep breath and silently follows the rest of the students to the ceremony hall.

Ozpin and Glynda were on the stage. Glynda is holding a tablet that was casting on the large TV above them. Ozpin lists names off his scroll,

"Cardin Winchester, Russel Thrush, Dove Bronzewing, and Sky Lark. Please come to the stage." The four bullies Grau encountered yesterday walk to the stage and stand in a line-hands behind their backs. "You four have gathered the Black Rook pieces. Henceforth, you are now Team CRDL or Cardinal for simplicity. Led by Cardin Winchester." Cardin smirks to himself and the four walk back to their seats. As team CRDL reaches their seats, Grau walks in and leans against the wall, he looks intently at the large television, waiting for his team assignment. Olive sits in her seat, bouncing her knee up and down in anticipation.

Ozpin looks at his scroll again and smiles to himself.

"And last but not least, Nior "Scarlett" Liu, Desmond Onyx, Grau Nachamer, and Olive Kladí, please come to the stage."

Olive sighs and pushes herself out of her chair, slinking past the people sitting next to her, Scarlett rolls her eyes and walks to the stage, Dez huffs to himself, and Grau silently walks to the stage. The four stand in the order of how they were called, Scarlett first and Olive in the back. Ozpin looks at the 4 of them, but his eyes linger on Desmond and Grau.

"You four have gathered the Black Knight pieces. Henceforth you are now Team NDGO, or Indigo for simplicity. Led by Noir "Scarlett" Liu." Olive furrows her brow in confusion, turning to look at Scarlett who looks equally confused and almost upset. Grau's eyes shifted from behind the holes of his mask, Scarlett was nowhere near qualified to be a leader... She never even tried to take charge during the battle in the emerald forest. What was the headmaster thinking with this pick?

The students were all dismissed from the ceremony room and directed to their team dorm rooms for that night, once team NDGO was allowed to enter their room the four immediately got to claiming their beds. The room was neatly organized, with four beds spaced evenly between each other, each with a nightstand, there were also four desks separated on each side of the room. Grau and Scarlett immediately claim the beds closest to the window, before making very brief eye contact, and they look down at their bags and start unpacking. Grau was unpacking equipment, weapons, and tools. Scarlett removes clothing, makeup boxes, and more items Grau sees as "unnecessary." Olive picked the bed on the other side of Grau, closest to the closet and Desmond was left with the bed closest to the restroom. Once most of the team had finished unpacking Olive stood in the middle of the room, resting her hands on her hips.

"So! What's the first order of business, team?"

Scarlett side-eyes Olive briefly, before returning to organizing her closet. Olive turns to Grau, who is assembling a workbench at the desk he had claimed as his, she then turns to look at Dez who is walking into the bathroom to take a shower. Olive awkwardly stands in the middle of the room before giving up, walking back to her bed, and attempting to organize her belongings for the next day.

This one is a fair bit shorter, but it's the end of this chapter. NDGO isn't going away. This is just chapter 1 of... MANY more that I have planned. Thank you for reading and have a wonderful day!
