Team NDGO enters the classroom of Professor Port, the head teacher of Grimm Studies. Olive slides into the second booth toward the front, provoking Cardin and his team to practically leap from their seats in the booth next to her and sprint toward the back of the room, Olive smirks in confidence, she'd scared them straight at forever fall afterall. Grau shoots Cardin a look before sitting next to Olive. Dez was just about to attempt to slide in next to Grau but Scarlett shoves herself past him and next to Grau. Dez was slightly annoyed but sat down anyway. Grau rests his notebook on the table in front of him and immediately gets to work on the assignment written in a sloppy dry-erase marker at the front of the room. Scarlett opens her notebook and starts scribbling in it to look like she is working.

"I heard you sneak out again last night." She teases in a hushed tone, not looking away from her paper. Grau glances toward his alleged leader before looking back at his paper.

"No, you didn't." Grau responds equally hushed before Professor Port bombastically rises from his leather chair, resting one of his hands on his pot belly and twirling his mustache with his spare hand.

"Monsters! Demons... Specters of the night! These creatures have many names!" He states, slowly pacing back and forth toward the front of the room.

"But! There is one name I'm particularly fond of when referring to these ghastly beasts! Can any of you guess what it is-" Before the professor can finish his statement. Most of the students in the room tiredly exclaim: "Prey!"

"Ah, so you do listen to me after all!" The professor states, before beginning his lecture.

Scarlett scowls to herself, she rests her elbows on the table. She watches as Grau calmly records the ramblings of the professor as he gloats about his days as a young strapping huntsman.

"What is it you do when you're out at night? Do you visit that girl?" Scarlett asks, Grau once again glances toward Scarlett and slowly back to his paper.

"I could ask you the same. You're never at team meets, you never train with Dez, Olive or myself. The only time I ever see you outside of classes is when you're telling me you're leaving." Grau retorts in a hushed tone. Scarlett grits her teeth, scratching her fingernails into the desk in front of her.

"Who is she to yo-" Before Scarlett can finish Grau turns to look her in the eyes, the sudden movement slightly startling Scarlett.

"Who is Mei Biru to you?" Grau asks in retort, his eyes narrowing behind his mask.

"A former mentor? A lost family member? Or maybe a victim... I haven't looked into her out of respect to you but if you keep digging into my personal life, I will respond in kind. And believe me when I say my resources are much more reliable than anything you have." Grau threatens, the skull on the face of his mask mere inches from Scarlett's face.

"Ooh... Touched a nerve did I?" Scarlett responds, her red lips growing into a smug smirk. Grau's eyes narrow slightly, before he returns to taking notes. Scarlett smirks and rests back in her seat, thinking she'd won.

The rest of the school day is a blur, and before Scarlett knows it the final bell rings and the students are dismissed to do as they please until curfew. Dez leaves for the Gym to work out, and most likely to meet up with Pyrrha. Grau takes Olive to the workshop to work on her weapon, and Scarlett is left alone in the dorm room, slowly caressing the naginata she cherishes. Wondering if Grau really meant what he said. It isn't until she hears a knock on the door. She looks up and sees one of her friends, Violetova. A rather pale girl with long faded violet hair, but deep violet eyes, going down to the back of her thighs. She steps into the room and sits on the end of Scarlett's bed.
