A few days had passed. The students returned to Beacon from Forever Fall more than a little exhausted. Because of this, the students were dismissed from classes early. Cardin Winchester and his team were wandering the streets of Vale, harassing people and being general nuisances. As the sun begun to set, Dove elected that they start walking back to Beacon to be in their rooms by curfew check, and Russel recommended that they take the alleyways to get there faster. Cardin agrees and they start wandering their way back, continuing to harass and bully people along the way.

They eventually get to a rather large alleyway between two local businesses. It’s here where Russel finally admits that he has no idea where they’re going… Cardin growls with frustration and is about to hit Russel with his mace before something echoes through the alleyway. They sounded like footsteps… The team slowly looks to what seems to be the source of the noise, a shadowy side alley. The footsteps slowly get louder and louder, with no face to put them to… eventually Cardin gets tired of waiting.

“Dove, light the place up, would ya?” He asks. Dove nods and grabs a yellow dust crystal. He bashes it against the blade of his sword a couple of times and holds his blade toward the noise, illuminating the entire alleyway. It’s immediately then when the footsteps stop, and there’s no one in the shady alley.

“The hell..?” Cardin asks, taking a slow step forward. He tightens the grip on his mace and slowly looks around. He immediately starts thinking of what to do. He didn’t want to run, because he’d seem weak, and he really didn’t want to stay.

Luckily the choice would be made for him, as a knife is lodged into the concrete floor in front of him. Russel steps forward. He recognized the blade, and was about to shout who it belonged to but a gray flash knocks him to his back. The shape immediately grabs the knife out from the floor and flourishes it in his hands before dropping it into a sheathe on his hip. He slowly stands to his full height, revealing who the attacker is. Cardin couldn’t forget those rageful orange eyes if he tried to…

“Nachamer…” Cardin mutters, he smirks before flourishing his mace. He opens his mouth to continue talking, but Grau lunges forward, immediately throwing a punch. Cardin only barely blocks the attack, though he is shocked. Normally people at least let him get a word or two off! Dove jumps forward and slashes at Grau, who opens his shield and blocks the attack, though he sees the electricity flowing through the metal of his shield. He shoves Dove back before relentlessly throwing his fists left and right, Dove only barely blocks most of the attacks, until Grau lands a firm punch on his ribs, his yellow aura flashes before Grau slams his shield into the swordsman’s face, sending him stumbling back.

Immediately after Dove falls to his back, Russell jumps off his back and readies his daggers. He makes eye contact with Sky and they both sprint forward, Russel immediately enters a melee with Grau but he eventually lands a kick on Russel’s knee, before spin kicking him in the face, sending him stumbling away. Immediately Sky leaps forward and starts attacking Grau with his halberd, slashing left and right and attempting to overwhelm Grau’s senses. However, the gray warrior simply kept blocking every attack the knight had to offer.

Sky pulls his ax back for one more slash but Grau slams his fist into his stomach, he immediately drops his halberd and doubles back, his aura flashes and Grau immediately starts swinging away on him. Slamming his fists into his face repeatedly before he starts hitting pressure points in Sky’s body. Sky stumbles back before Grau punches him in the jaw, lifting him off the floor and slamming him onto his back, he was already out cold.

Dove pushes himself off the ground at the same time as Russel. They both see Sky on his back unable to move. Dove holds his sword forward and pulls the trigger, shooting at Grau three times with the electrical dust energy. Grau simply raises his shield and blocks the shots before Russel launches a wave of fire at him, seemingly incinerating the gray huntsman in the flame. Russel laughs before he sees the metal shield flying toward him. He quickly blocks the attack and it bounces off his daggers and into Dove’s elbow, bending it the wrong way. He immediately grabs his arm and screams in horror.
