59 - coincidence

I kept feeling Lauren's thumb brushing back and forth against my cheek, i think i've been pretending to still be asleep for a good minute or two and nothing has changed from her just comforting me.

As i had the thought to finally open my eyes, i felt shifting, knowing that she had scooted closer and a soft kiss was pressed right on my forehead.

I swear i had melted and i didn't waste time to move my head up, locking my eyes right on hers. "Did i wake you? I'm so sorry, sweetheart."

"No. You didn't. It's okay." I lied but everything in me was spiked with absolute warmth from having to wake up like this, with her just discreetly comforting me when she's well aware i could not feel it if i'd actually still be asleep.

Nonetheless i was just about to ask for the thing i always do after waking up however Lauren's hands cupped my face, pulling me in for that morning kiss.

"You don't have to ask anymore." She parted our lips with a smile. "God, Lauren, i fucking love you." I mumbled back, wrapping my arms around her for a tight hug.

"Wait, but what time is it?" I immediately pulled back, going over to check my phone. "Oh my god! It's 12 pm! Babe, why the hell are we still in bed?!" I forced myself sitting, reaching over to grab my clothes.

"Sweetheart, why can't we have a peaceful morning? Everything's okay. Come back in bed." I felt as her hand slipped on me, trying to pull me back in.

"We can't just be sleeping all day! We're traveling which means to explore, enjoy the change of atmosphere and not stay in a hotel room, Lauren." I denied her desire, getting dressed right away.

"Alright, Alright. Whatever you want, pretty. We can go down to the restaurant for breakfast." I heard her say, getting out of bed herself to get dressed.

"Yes, please. I need a strong coffee." I commented after walking in the bathroom, giving myself a cold face wash.

"Hm? Can't function today?" I noticed her approach me through the mirror and i turned around, wiping off the excess water before setting the towel back down.

"You're gonna make fun of me now?" I laid my arms on her shoulders but with a serious expression. "Oh, you don't even understand how badly i want to. Had been a bit since i've saw you so desperate for my touch. In a sexual way, of course." She showcased a proud smile whilst speaking.

"Watch your mouth, Ms Hale. Just because you think and was in control last night doesn't prove that it's going to stay like that forever." I confessed, watching her intrigued expression appear.

"You better shut yours first, Maddy. I'm in no way gonna allow you to toss and play me around. Remember, i'm basically double your age so a young girl like you will not be able to make me forget that."

"Stop. Don't fucking test me, Lauren." I seriously responded, purposely gripping on the back of her neck to make my words even more clearer.

"God, i'd love to see what you'd come up with but i honestly don't want to feel bad for watching you fail so," she forced my arms away, "let's go downstairs for that breakfast."

I sat my fork down after taking the last bits of food off my plate and i grabbed the cup of coffee. My eyes dead locked on Lauren that was sitting in front of me as i began taking sips.

Seeing how calm and unworried she was only had my annoyance spike up more. Older and hotter, Lauren thinks that's all that's needed to be the dominant one.

Okay. I still can't lie about the fact on how much i enjoyed her idea last night. The more rough and new stuff we try, the more i start to love it. However i'm holding such a strong grudge about how confidence she is that i just can't let this be.

"Lauren? Maddy?" A voice, same with a figure, appeared by our table and i brought myself back in reality. "Jacob?" I spoke out first, the sight of him bringing surprise over me.

"What a coincidence! Met on the plane on the way here, Spain and now we meet at a hotel?" He began with a smile.

"Surely a huge coincidence! But hey! Good to see you!" Lauren finally spoke herself, going in for a hug which i did as well. "Where's your wife though?" I asked.

"Talia? She was- Oh! Here she comes." He said and i noticed her walk over. "Wow! We meet again!" The girl immediately reached her arms out for a hug which i accepted without hesitation.

"No but this is insane! What are you two doing here?" Lauren had questioned as we had sat around the same table.

"We? We're staying here! 5 star hotel, one of the most popular, reviews were amazing so we chose this one."

"Crazy. Absolutely crazy!" I exclaimed.

"And you two?"

"Well same, of course! Staying in Spain for a week and then continuing the plan of traveling to the next country." My girlfriend explained.

"Fun! You know, we should arrange something whilst you both are here. Might be strangers that met in first class but with the help of a picnic or something we would have the chance to get to know one another more!" Talia confessed, bringing pure joy over me about the idea of this.

"Gotta do it. Have to! What do you think, babe? Maybe already tomorrow?" I gave her a glance whilst speaking. "Sure! We can make it work despite the reservations and tickets i've bought for places."

"Look at that! So easy with you two. But well, what are you both eating for lunch?"

"Technically breakfast but we both got-"

"Breakfast, huh?" Talia had spoke in, weirdly glancing between the both of us. "Well yeah? Had accidentally slept in so only woke up around 12 pm."

"I wonder why." The woman's eyes had took a look down to my neck and back up. "Uhh, well, are you two getting something as well? We can spend some time together even now." Lauren thankfully saved me from having to say something.

"We came to have some lunch so sure!" Jacob responded, Talia's attention being brought off me and on the menus.
