I ran ducking and dodging debris. In the distance, I could see how fast Midoriya hopping off buildings. I could've matched his speed but I need to preserve my energy as much as possible.
I finally made it to the city where crowds of people were rushing away from explosions of different sorts.
My running came to a stop and I squeezed my eyes shut in frustration. A woman and her child were hiding beside a flipped car.
"Shit!" I cursed under my breath, delaying my journey. She let out a cry as the car began to close in on them. I placed my hand on one of the cars and pushed it away with a hard hit.
"Are you okay ma'am?" I said helping her up. "Thank you! Thank you so much!" She cried hugging my shoulder.
My hands halted in the air as I stared ahead unsure about this situation I was just put in. I awkwardly patted her back and forced a smile.
"You two should evacuate. There's a medic station not far from here." I instructed.
I turned away once she nodded. As I resumed my journey, I couldn't help but fall into thought.
The Hero Killer wouldn't make such a big scene like this. Especially one that could draw attention to him.
He would do his business elsewhere. A place where there weren't people or crowds of any sort.
"What the hell is that thing?!" I shouted in disbelief stopping once more. In front of me stood a bird-like creature with big eyes and a brain that was very much visible.
It went to grab me but I immediately kicked it away. I couldn't hit it far since I underestimated its strength and the shock of seeing that thing took over me.
I saved that woman and child. Now I'm fighting this creature that is destroying Hosu.
'Does this make me a hero?'
A memory flickered through my head reminding me of the time when some villains were causing chaos and in the mix of it, a lot of people lost their loved ones in the crowd.
That day I decided to stick around and help them reunite with one another using my quirk.
At the time I was only 13 but my quirk had been pretty advanced for my age.
I dodged another attack from the creature that Midoriya called a Nomu. I pulled my revolver from my bag shooting the nomu perfectly in between its eyes which damaged the brain.
'Is that the weakness?' I ran up to it while it groaned in pain locking my legs around its body and flipping it onto the ground.
Once it was on the ground, I made a run for it while I had the chance. I activated my quirk to find the others but Midoriya was nowhere near Gran Torino.
"What is going on here? Why is this city so damaged?" I said aloud running subconsciously to the closest dot to me.
"Isn't it obvious? I came because I'm a hero." I hear a man with flames say as I approach the two. "Endeavor," I said exhaling.
"Finally. You done with your vacation?" He said with sarcasm. "You are done with the yapping or are you ready to find what we came here for?" I shot back.
"Y/n? Where's Midorya?" Gran Torino asked. I sighed as I lost track of things. If he isn't here with Gran Torino he probably went to where Ida was which would be where the Hero killer is.
"Finish up here. I'll assist the kid." I took off through the city rummaging through big crowds of people.
The sound of multiple crashes and explosions made me halt my movement. "What the hell are these things," I said through gritted teeth.
