Devasena's mother Maharani Aditi is the 3rd wife of Maharaj Ayushman. She along with the rest of queens and other noble women from the palace are gathered in Devasena's chamber.
Devasena rubs her forehead looking at her chamber. There's no single place anymore.
They couldn't fit even one third of all the ornaments, gifts, attires in her chamber which came from Devapath. Though her mother and stepmothers have received separate gifts, her's are separated. Devasena thinks what is she even going to do with so many ornaments and jeweleries for one day?
Everything is extremely unique. The texture and designs. The ornaments don't have any sharp ends rather from finishing to the smallest of stone everything is made very carefully and detailed. The attires are so soft and vibrant in color. Devasena never thought it's possible to have so many shades and designs in red only.
"Advut! Devasena you are really lucky," one of the queens commented.
"Which are the wedding attires?" Maharani Aditi asks.
"Rajmata Kunti, Rajkumari Suthanu are entering!"
The guards announce. Everyone stands up in respect.
An orderly woman enters. And a young woman follows her. The young woman has a permanent smile on her lips. She appears to be the definition of purity and gentleness. The only daughter of Pandavas. Daughter of Dharmaraj Yudhisthira, the Samrat himself, Suthanu. The joy and pride of Pandavas. Another ajatashatru after her father.
Suthanu greets everyone with her smile.
Kunti immediately takes her place among the queens where Suthanu instructs something to the 20 maids behind her.
"Pranipath Bhabishree," Suthanu greets her will be sister in law directly this time.
Devasena was truly taken aback by this insanely beautiful girl, "Pranipath Rajkumari. I hope your journey has been a pleasurable one."
"It was. Maharani Aditi, the marriage is happening in such hurry. Maa couldn't prepare properly. And Bhabishree Maya is expecting. Maa couldn't attend as well. She asked me to convey her apologies to you all," Suthanu says.
"It's fine. Samragni has so many responsibilities. The preparations are well done and enough. We couldn't ask for more in a week," Maharani Aditi says flustered.
Suthanu gestures the maids to bring the wedding attire. The wedding attires always hold very much importance. And it's received from the in laws house to the mother of bride. Maharani Aditi stands up and the maids hand Suthanu a very heavy tray.
"This is Bhabishree's wedding attire," Suthanu hands her the tray, "And this is the dupatta."
Maharani Aditi herself is stunned. The trays are so heavy. Are silk ornaments usually this heavy?
"Let us also see, Aditi. Open them," one of the queen says.
The moment the attire came to view, every single woman gasps. How gorgeous! Samragni usually wears very unique designs and has her own people to make her garments. This is beyond words.
The attire itself is gorgeous. Every stone is knitted so carefully and skillfully. Gold thread works are extremely rare in Aryavarta. This blue, red and golden combination is so unique and well made.
The dupatta itself has stole the heart of every woman.
"What stone is this?" Maharani Aditi asks stunned.
"Sapphire. Maa says this is suit Bhabishree very much," Suthanu smiles.
Maharani Aditi couldn't help but brush her hand over the garments. How gorgeous! Devasena isn't someone to get worked up over jeweleries or attires but she also becomes speechless over these clothes.
