"Krishnaa,"
Draupadi walks towards her sakha. He is a little gloomy after their previous talk. More like her talk with her husbands. He didn't came for breakfast in the dinning hall.
"Sakha! What are you doing with my horses?" Draupadi asks curiously.
Meghapushpa and Sugriva are her gifts from her sakha. After her marriage, with other gifts. Krishna gifted her these ponies. Now they are grown adult. So gorgeous and mighty.
Draupadi realizes not only her horses but also Arjuna's two horses are here as well. Saibya, Balahaka. Krishna is grooming these four horses himself.
"Sakha! Why all these work? Let me call Nakula," Draupadi asks anxiously.
Meghapushpa extends her neck to her mistress's shoulder.
"Why? Am I that bad taking care of these horses? If you are afraid I am mistreating them, you can ask them!" Krishna points innocently.
Draupadi smiles as all the horses neigh in protest.
"Then let me assist you at least," Draupadi offers.
Taking a scrub Draupadi begins to wash Sugriva. Meghapushpa neighs in protest.
"Megha! Don't be jealous. I will wash you sort by," Draupadi laughs.
Meghapushpa whom Draupadi lovingly calls Megha then turns her attention to other Krishna. Who begins washing her giving into her adorable neigh.
"Are they dissapointed  at me...angry at me...?" Draupadi asks softly.
"A question you should ask them yourself," Krishna is quick to answer back.
"Even if they are....they won't tell me..." Draupadi sighs.
"Ask Jyesht Yudhisthira then," Krishna suggests.
"We are already walking on eggshells. Besides I don't want validation. I want to know the result of my action," Draupadi's voice turns desperate, "Govind...."
"Krishnaa," Krishna's voice becomes cold and stern.
Draupadi's heart thumps in fear of disappointing him. She looks at him desperately for his next words.
"Bua Kunti also tried everything in her might to control her sons fate. Was she successful? What price she had to pay? Your wife became a burning coal,"
"Govind, you said everyone on Kuru bloodline will perish. My sons didn't take back their vows. They aren't related to Kuruvansa so I am half relieved. But what must my step sons suffer for? For what reasons should they...."
Draupadi is stopped by Krishna, "If you already planned everything. What's the need of God then?"
Draupadi becomes flustered, "Sakha...I..I only tried to ensure their lives. If Kuruvansa perishes, they will too. And for what? They play no part in their mothers schemes. Only to lighten their sack of guilt...."
"Krishnaa," Krishna holds her shoulders, "Even an ant of Kurukshetra has it's irreplaceable role in the war. They are warriors worthy of their names. You won't be able to stop them from participating."
"Govind," Draupadi pleads, "War isn't something whose result we can surely tell. If....If something happens to my sons....they will carry Pandavas blood. My family....how can my family go without any successor?"
"Do your deed, Krishnaa. Don't worry about the result," Krishna says.
Draupadi stops herself collecting her thoughts. These lines...her sakha has been repeating that constantly to her, to Arjuna. And no matter how many times he says that, each time it reminds her of her responsibility and stops her mind into giving in it's selfish desires.
