Chapter 150 : A Completely Different World

Yudhisthira has convinced everyone that the rest of rituals and other performance will be held in Devapath because Draupadi couldn't attend here. Satanika's insistence also played a huge part.

So a huge group is traveling to Devapath after the marriage. Before leaving, Suthanu took Maharaj Ayushman's words so that Maharani Aditi could come as well.

Pandavas are ahead in the path and 5 brothers are traveling with the other's.

Satanika's horse Arun travels beside Maharani Aditi's palanquin. Indumati on the horse with him. 

In his great annoyance, he couldn't meet his wife even after their marriage. Because a lot of rituals are left incomplete. And his mother has strictly ordered his elder brothers to tie him up if necessary. What sort of mother says that?

But he smiles looking in front. Shrutakarma's horse Veer is walking slowly beside Devasena's palanquin. Both smiling and talking. Shrutakarma has become closer to Devasena than others. No surprise he is favorite if his elder sister in laws as well.

"Yuvraj," his mother in law calls him from her palanquin.

"Mata, am I not your son now?" Satanika asks instead.

A soft smile plays on Maharani Aditi's lips, "Putra Satanika, earlier Yuvraj Bheema was busy with our pearl trading merchants. He also went out and gathered a lot of different flower seeds. I hope everything is alright."

Satanika dreads his answer, "Mata, Pitashree Bheema gathered them for my Maa."

Maharani Aditi's lips parted in shock. Satanika isn't joking as well. How many years has it been of their marriage? Yuvraj Bheema is so feared that even her husband didn't dare look in his eyes. Soldiers and maids run away if they cross his path. And he went around himself buying things for his wife?

"Matashree, is everything alright?" Satanika asks worriedly looking at her expression.

"Nothing..." Maharani Aditi stays silent.

As they enter Devapath, the entire Devapth is decorated with red and blue vibrant colors. Satanika climbs down and talks with his elder brothers.

"Matashree, we all will travel the rest in chariots. Our people has the right to see their Yuvrani. Please come with me," Prativindhya says to Aditi.

Maharani Aditi climbs down and in her surprise Yuvraj Prativindhya, the next Samrat of Aryavarta, the eldest heir of Pandavas throne stands there extending his hand for her. He carefully helps her climb down her palanquin and as she climbs up the chariot. Prativindhya's chariot is at the front after his fathers horses.

"At least take my hand now. Or is it also forbidden?" Satanika teases extending his hand for his bride.

A smile spreads on Devasena's lips. She places her hand on his. Their eyes only baring each other fully.

As their chariot travels, people were congratulating them, showering them with flowers. Satanika and Devasena suits each other so perfectly. She is the beautiful sea shell at the bottom of the sea so carefully preserving the ocean's mysteries. Indumati is on Satanika's arms. She giggles having the flowers showered on her. Satanika baby talks with her here and there tickling her. Devasena keeps looking at him unblinking. How does he have such big heart? He is acting like he has always been a part of her family.

She looks at her side of guests from Awanti. All of them along with her mother are in complete shock. The way women were treated in Awanti is no less than slaves. But here It's as if the sons of Aryavarta are raised in a completely different world. Even the great Pandavas. When Devasena heard her father in law is going through pearls she didn't care too much. But later she knew the great Vrikoder and sword-master Nakula has already spend 5 days in pearl sectors. She was worried.
