Namjoon had to be honest. Telling Jungkook and Taehyung what had happened to him was something he truly didn't feel up to. He had taken Jimin up on the offer and asked him to tell the two maknaes in his stead. He didn't mind the detail Jimin would go into, as long as he himself didn't have to tell the story again.
What he hadn't thought about was what it would be like when he would see them again. After Jimin had told them everything.
He was practically tackled as soon as he got home from the hospital.
Taehyung jumped right on top of him, with Jungkook there just in time to catch the two and lower them to the ground as well as he could (instead of having Namjoon crashing to the floor with Taehyung on top).
Taehyung wailed, sobbing about how bad he felt that he hadn't been there for Namjoon, that he hadn't been able to do anything or help or figure things out. Jungkook cried along, telling Namjoon about how his heart hurt and how he was never going to leave Namjoon by himself again.
Namjoon felt awkward, but he was glad to see the two and hugged them back the best he could, reassuring them he didn't hold it against them at all, that it wasn't their fault. Or anyone's fault really, as Jin had insisted again and again on the way home.
The group decided then, that it was best if they cooked their own meals for a while. Just to reassure Namjoon that he could safely eat whatever was on his plate.
It resulted in Chaos in the Kitchen.
At least five RUN! episodes could be made out of the kitchen rampage. Everyone suddenly wanted to help with the cooking, even Taehyung, who disliked the activity the most out of all of them. It was remarkable, truly, how not once did Taehyung remind them how unenjoyable he thought cooking was. He was positively beaming when he finished making the first side dish (of course plated on the weirdest dish he could find in the house).
They were running around, all six of them almost in a hurry to cook Namjoon a great meal. Namjoon was sure he even heard Jungkook and Taehyung make a bet about whose food he would like the most.
Namjoon was gently forced to stay seated on one of the couches in their living room and he had to wait and listen to the chaos in the kitchen.
He still felt a little drowsy, but other than that he felt fine. He was only allowed to leave the hospital once the drug had worn off completely and it was deemed safe to have him walking around without passing out. He was glad that it hadn't taken too long. He didn't like hospitals, let alone having to stay in a hospital bed while your friends were worrying about you.
He was texting his family, keeping them updated about being back home and feeling better. He hadn't told them all the details, but at the very least he wanted to tell them something happened and he was taken to the hospital, and that he was fine now. Though it was different with his parents. He had called them and explained the whole thing, not leaving out anything because he had just felt the need to talk to them about it truthfully. He had to promise them a dozen times that he was okay before he managed to end the call.
As he was texting, a message from an unknown number popped up. He didn't open it fully, only swiped down the screen to get a look at the message.
It wasn't good.
'I enjoyed our first official meeting yesterday, love. I'll come visit again soon! I hope you enjoy that food that your members are making you~'
He was getting sick. He was going to throw up. God this- this couldn't- this wasn't happening-
Namjoon stood up from the couch, holding onto the armrest for support as he stared at the message on his phone. His knees felt weak. He felt like his stomach was turned upside down, while his chest hurt with fear.
