ROBIN  had never been to a sleepover before, well he has only stayed over. While they were in Finney's room. Pp

Robin felt a bit hungry so he decided to excuse himself from his best friend to go to the kitchen for a snack.

As he rummaged through the fridge in search of a snack, Robin heard footsteps approaching. He turned to see a girl entering the kitchen, her eyes briefly meeting his before she quickly averted her gaze. It was Elise, a girl he recognized from school but had barely even talked to her.

The kitchen fell silent as they stood awkwardly, neither one knowing quite what to say. Robin tried to muster up the courage to break the silence, but his words seemed to evaporate in the air.

Elise grabbed a snack from the counter and turned to leave, her movements swift and determined. But before she could make her escape, Robin spoke up.

"Hey, um, Elise, right?" he said, his voice hesitant.

Elise paused, her hand hovering over the doorknob. "Yeah, that's me," she replied, her tone guarded.

Robin racked his brain for something else to say, desperate to keep the conversation going. "So, uh, you're here with Gwen, right?"

Elise nodded, a small frown displaying on her lips. "Yeah, Gwen's my friend. We're having a sleepover." She told.

Robin felt a surge of relief at her response, grateful for the opportunity to keep talking. "Cool, cool. So, uh, what are you guys planning to do tonight?"

As they made small talk, Robin felt the tension between them slowly dissipating, replaced by a newfound sense of ease. He discovered that Elise shared his love of Chainsaw Massacre and more, Elise simply nodded her head while looking down at her feet.

But as quickly as it had begun, their conversation came to an abrupt end. Elise excused herself, citing the need to rejoin Gwen and the other girls upstairs.

Robin watched her go, a sense of regret gnawing at him. He didn't even know why.

As he made his way back to the living room, Robin couldn't shake the feeling that this chance encounter with Elise was something special, something worth holding onto. And as the night wore on, amidst the chaos and laughter of the sleepover.

The hours ticked by, blending into one another as the night deepened. Robin tried to focus on the games and conversations happening around him, but his thoughts kept drifting back to Elise. He wondered what she was doing upstairs, if she was thinking about him as much as he was thinking about her.

Eventually, the noise began to die down, and one by one, the other guests began to drift off to sleep. Robin found himself restless, unable to shake the feeling of longing that had settled in his chest.

With a sigh, he decided to call it a night and headed upstairs to find a place to sleep. As he passed by Gwen's room, he couldn't help but stop and listen at the door, hoping to catch a glimpse of Elise.

To his surprise, the door swung open, and Elise stood before him, her eyes soft with sleep. "Hey," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "Couldn't sleep?"

Robin shook his head, feeling a rush of excitement at the sight of her. "No, I, uh, I just wanted to say goodnight."

Elise slowly nodded her head.. "Goodnight, Robin," she said, before disappearing back into the room.

As Robin made his way to the floor in finneys floor, he began to  drift off to sleep, he couldn't help but wonder why was she so awkward around him.
