Arius POV
This world is home to many different species and magic, those species being;
~Humans
~Elves
~Dwaves
~Dragons
~Demons(Not counting the animals)
Dragons are the strongest of the species, but also the rarest. The reason for that is unknown.
Every species has its own kingdom and there's a lot of trading going on between them, except for the demons, because demons are unintelligent beasts that live as rogues and attack everything they come across, including their own kin. Everyone has a force called mana in them, but the amount varies from species to species, some households being the exceptions. The dwarves, for example, have the least amount of mana and mages compared to the others, but in turn they have the most advanced technology in the world. Humans are the species with the second least amount of mana and mages, but they excel in science. They often work together with the dwarven kingdom while creating new things.
The elves have the most fertile lands and are also the best at handling the nature. They have the biggest mana reserves after the dragons, and they cultivate the most amount of scholars along with humans. The dragons are by far the most capable race when it comes to magic. When not in their dragon form (as in the giant, winged lizards), they mostly look like very beautiful humans, or sometimes elves. There are not many dragons left in the world, maybe 100.
The dragon kingdom only has a dragon royalty and dragon nobles. The citizens are mostly from other races, and they all live together peacefully. Inter species or same-sex marriages are not uncommon in this world and even many of the dragons partake in it (but it's of course extremely lucky, if you get yourself a dragon partner).
In same-sex marriages, if you and your partner pour a drop of your own blood on a flower of your choosing regularly, the flower turns into your biological child in the next nine months, so having a successor is not a problem.
'Seriously, this is the perfect world building for a fantasy-bl.', is the first thing that came to my mind when I read this.
Right now, I am in my bed, noting down everything I know about this book's world-building. It's been six days since I woke up with the memories of my past life, and I still haven't been visited by anyone of my 'family'. I'm not surprised at all, but it does make me wonder why I tried so hard to impress them. Well, I suppose I was just a child in desperate need of familial love.
At least it gives me time to plan my next moves.I know, I avoided my biggest death flag already, but it would be foolish of me to let my guard down. After all, I'm still the youngest known child of the grand duke.
As for my family, I decided to be petty. I'm not going to destroy the duchy for a few reasons:
1. The grand duke has no involvement with any illegal activities.
2. It's considered high treason and I enjoy having my head on my shoulders.
3. I don't feel like being homeless.
4. It's a lot of work and I'm too lazy.Instead, I will ruin their reputation and mental state. For that, I'll be using a well known manipulation technique.
Since I've been following the members of my family my whole life, begging for their affection and giving them lots of affection in turn, once I cut that out, it'll throw them off guard and they'll start feeling the loss of their dear son/little brother. How do I know that it'll work? That's because I know that they don't hate me, but are still grieving over the loss of mother and sister and doing the easiest thing they could do in this situation, which is blaming me. Pathetic.
