-I think I'm gonna go…- Said the Croatian representative to the Spanish one.

-Yeah…

He didn't understand why everyone was looking at them and he wasn't sure if he wanted to know the answer. He walked at a fast pace away from that place. He hated the attention. Sure, he had to learn to tolerate it if he wanted to be an artist but he excused himself thinking that the attention given to them wasn't because of their work, or maybe it was? Maybe they both were at the top of the odds? Well, it seemed like a realistic thing to Marko as both songs were already pretty popular.

He continued walking, not sure where to go until he got a call from his manager.

-Sure I'll be there in a minute.-He answered.

He met his manager and two members of the Croatian delegation.

-Well done, Purišić.- Jakov, the leader of the croatian delegation tapped the singer's back.

-And may I ask why?- He asked timidity.

-Your strategy of marketing, of course.

What was he talking about? Marketing? Was everyone crazy that day Marko? Marko clearly couldn't understand it completely but an idea was starting to form in the back of his mind which he didn't like.

-You and the representative of Spain are a trending in Twitter, which means that more people will know you and is possible that among those people some of them will listen to your song. This is great. Aren't you excited Purišić?

-No. Wait. Yes. Um, I mean it is great that more people listen to the song but I don't want a ship to be the reason why. And we weren't doing marketing.

The words of Marko made the delegation's members laugh.

-Please Purišić, don't make us laugh. You're not serious, right?

The representative of Croatia felt humiliated by the way the men were treating him. It was just like when he was a little kid and his classmates laughed whenever he said something which they considered too innocent or weird, so Marko had learnt to stay quiet over time, resulting his shyness and probably social anxiety.

-Did you really think she was your friend?-Asked one member of the delegation trying to assimilate what the singer had just said.

-Oh, Marko, Marko… I'm sorry to be the one who breaks it down to you.-Started saying Jakov without any remorse, in fact, he found the situation hilarious.-She just used you for popularity. Knowing you, I'm sure she was the one who approached you. And she truly knows what she's doing, right now you're both in the top 5 of the odds. Do you know who is she best friends with?-He did a dramatic pause awaiting for the singer to answer, but he didn't.- Exactly, Nemo. I'm sure we'll soon see videos of her and Joost in her account.

Marko was fed up with that conversation, but he didn't know how to stop it.

-Purišić, you should really take advantage of the situation and start letting you see with her around public places, so people will speak. You'll be like a better version of Efendi and Tix.

Jakov's speech was interrupted when Marko's phone started ringing. He saw the name of “Adria” appear on the screen so he immediately hung. That didn't seem to be a good moment to talk…

-Who was that?-Asked Jakov.

-Spam. -He muttered.

He felt horrible having ignored her call but still he turned off his phone. He didn't want Jakov and the other man to know who was calling him.
