LENNY was startled when she heard a knock on her window.

She got up from her bed, putting aside the book she had been reading, and walked over to her window, opening it and leaning out.

Peter was in the backyard of his house and he was holding some small stones in the palm of his hand.

LEN looked at him surprised, and after leaving her room and going down the stairs she went out the back door and headed towards Peter.

"Pete, what are you doing here?" he asked.

Peter looked very sad, and that worried him.

"Did you run away?" Do your parents know you're here?Peter sobbed loudly and hugged LENNY.

She hugged him back and they both entered the house.

Peter felt the air leave his lungs as he saw the boxes that were in various parts of the house as they headed towards LENNY's room, and when he got to the room he saw that there were boxes in her room as well."Sorry for the mess... F Jessica and Luke went to buy more boxes.

LENNY explained as they entered. Peter pursed his lips, feeling a suffocating squeeze in his chest. "Petey, please tell me what's wrong."

They were both very inexperienced in that, after all, they were both only 8 years old. "Captain Rogers called me!" He said that Peter apparently escaped through his bedroom window and he's very worried!LENNY gasped and walked back towards her room, meeting a very nervous Peter. They both looked at the window, which was still open, and before they could think about making Peter go out the window—even though it was a second floor—, Jessica entered the room and saw both preteens in surprise, and then with a frown.
