The boat sat stagnant on the water - surrounded by mother nature and her green embrace as she reclaimed the man made vessel.
No longer was the boat a tool for aiding in the harm of her water-born, scaly children, but instead was a new sanctuary. Pond skimmers, tadpoles and occasionally a bird- or two - would sit upon their mothers gift, safe from the grabby hands of human infants. For human infants were not allowed near the boat full of algae... Their parents forbid it.
It may have been a gift to mother natures children, but for human infants it was a trap...
