--Jungkook--

My good mood lasted until I checked Somi's CET-4 score and found that she failed again. Looking at the terrible score, I was furious again. I rushed into her room and found her curled up in bed, smiling as she read a book with a colorful cover. When she saw me come in, she was startled and subconsciously tried to shove the book under the quilt. I snatched the book and looked at the cover, wanting only to sneer.

A very corny and pretentious book title, author: Lalisa. Thanks to Somi, even I know this woman. Somi once defended herself by saying that this "Lalisa" was a very famous "goddess". I was skeptical at the time, but after flipping through a few pages, I couldn't read any more. It was all about love affairs between men and women, even touching and hugging.

As a result, Somi hid in her room and read her book again. She was only nineteen years old, and was poisoned by such books every day. No wonder she had no mind to study.

A family like ours has no right not to study and work hard.

I turned around and walked away with a cold face. Somi knew that she had gotten into trouble again and quickly chased after me.

I didn't expect that she would catch me when I was making Somi cry.

I turned around and saw her. At that moment, I felt a little regretful. I didn't want outsiders to see the conflict in my family. I didn't want her to see it either.

I have nothing to say.

Her eyes became very strange. She looked at the book on the ground and then stared at me.

Then she bared her teeth, twisted her mouth, showed a somewhat ugly expression, and left.

I don't know why she was so angry. Maybe she misunderstood the relationship between Somi and me?

After returning to the room, Somi stopped crying and sat down at the table to memorize the CET-4 vocabulary. She also obediently poured me some water. I knew she was trying to please me and felt a little distressed, so I said in a hoarse voice: "Don't you want to go to the bar on the ship? I'll take you there after dinner tonight."

"Well, thanks, brother." She whispered.

I suddenly felt a little depressed and my mood became soft, so I left her room in silence.

The sun was setting, and it was almost time for me and the girl to meet. I sat at my desk, thinking about her expression at that time. She also changed into a very beautiful skirt. Was it for a date with me? I had some work to do and couldn't go in. I saw the glass ashtray on the table. I don't smoke, and it was spotless. I picked it up and walked to the balcony.

I knocked on the balcony railing again and again. The sound was crisp and rhythmic, and I knew she would be able to hear it.

Sure enough, not long after, she came out angrily.

"What are you knocking for?" she demanded.

I wanted to laugh when I saw her angry look, but I noticed that she had changed her skirt and was wearing an old white T-shirt, shorts and a pair of flip-flops.

Obviously she is not going to keep my date.

I stared at her and asked, "Why did you change your skirt?"

She was stunned for a moment, probably because she didn't expect that my first sentence would be this. She immediately opened her eyes wide and asked, "What does it have to do with you?"

It was completely different from the intellectual and gentle one at noon. Now it was a little bit prickly, which made me, who was a little confused, slightly sober.

I said, "Did you misunderstand something? That wasn't mine..."

She looked at me at this moment, with a look that seemed to have a plan. It was as if she understood what I wanted to explain, but she didn't give me a chance to explain. Then she spoke fluently: "There are calluses on the fingertips, judging from the position, he often holds a pen. There are also ink marks on his wrists, and some numbers and half-formulas. A typical engineering man. He still works overtime when traveling, he is really not a normal human being."

I was completely stunned. She was... observing and reasoning with me?
