————Jungkook————

I knew she would come to me.

After returning home, I took a quick nap and woke up before noon. I ate a bowl of rice noodles next to the store, looking out of the store frequently while eating.

She didn't come.

I worked in the store in the afternoon, and she didn't show up until the sun set over the open space in front of the store. I was a little confused. Could it be that she was so patient? Or was she delayed by something else? At around 8 or 9 in the evening, I finished work and the other store workers went home. I was about to close the rolling door when I saw the orange-red car slowly driving along the road.

Her skills were not very good, and she was as slow as a cow when turning. So I didn't close the shutter completely, leaving a gap for her, and walked into the small room behind the store.

The room that the boss lent me was only about 10 square meters, and he also asked me to look after the store. There was a yellow light bulb on the ceiling, and the table was piled with my books. I found two clean stools and put them next to the bed. I sat down and stared at the noodles cooking in the stove in the corner.

"Huahua——" Someone touched the shutter door twice, and then her voice came: "Excuse me, is Jungkook here?"

Somehow, I felt like laughing again, so I raised my voice and answered, "Come in."

She quickly drew aside the curtain and came in.

I looked up at her. She had washed and dressed, and her face was shiny, perhaps because she had rested enough. She was wearing a simple T-shirt and a short skirt. I felt like my eyes were flashed by something.

The legs under the short skirt are thin, white and straight.

The noodles are cooked.

I turned off the fire and served the noodles. She stood by the door without moving. I said, "Sit down." She immediately sat down on the stool.

Like a rabbit, sometimes smart, sometimes confused, sometimes quiet, sometimes jumpy.

I held the noodles in my hand, sat beside her, and ate with big mouthfuls. I could feel her eyes lingering on my face. If she knew who I was, she probably wouldn't have thought that she would see me like this. But I didn't care anymore.

"Why are you here now?" I asked.

She was stunned for a moment and said, "I came as soon as I woke up."

I looked at the clock. It was more than ten hours.

She is so generous. After so many things happened, I waited for her for a whole day, and she slept as she should.

Okay.

I put the empty bowl of noodles on the table and took two bottles of mineral water from the corner and handed one to her. She unscrewed the bottle, took a sip, and closed it. I tilted my head back and drank most of the bottle. When I put it down, I found that she was staring at me again, with a shy look in her eyes.

I suddenly felt a little restless, but the culprit lowered his head and continued to drink water as if nothing had happened.

"What do you want to ask me?" I said.

She looked me straight in the eye and said, "You left unanswered questions last night. Why were you there?"

The past flashed through my mind like a stream of light, and what was left was only the dark night outside the window. And her clean and fresh face, just like before. I smiled, took out a cigarette from my pocket, and tried to find a lighter, but couldn't find it.

She had already taken a lighter from the table next to her and handed it to me. I suddenly thought and said, "Light it for me."

She said, "Okay." I held the cigarette in my mouth and looked at her slender fingers right in front of me. My lighter was a bit old, and she tried several times but failed to light it. I reached out and pressed her fingers, and flicked hard, and it lit. I still held her hand and moved my face closer. After it lit, as soon as I let go, she threw the lighter to me. I looked at her, her face turned red, and she didn't look into my eyes, but looked elsewhere.

"Go ahead," she said.
