--Jungkook--

She also raised her head and stared at me blankly. Her long hair was scattered on her shoulders, very messy, not even dry yet, and had a slight scent of shampoo. She was wearing a set of home clothes and slippers on her feet, without socks. Not far behind her, her car was parked on the side of the road with the double flashes on. It was obvious that she ran out of the house in a hurry. After recognizing me, her eyes became very strange, full of vigilance, shock, and even a little fear. In the weak light, her face also looked pale.

She was totally different from the cute and obedient girl she was when she was with me during the day. She was like a completely different person.

What happened to her in just one night?

Why would a girl come here alone late at night?

However, before I could open my mouth, Lisa spoke first: "Why... are you here?" There was a slight tremor in his voice.

I stared down at her. "What about you? Why are you here?"

She bit her lip, looked me in the eyes from a very close distance, and said, "I have a date."

I said, "Who did you meet?"

She said, "Does this have anything to do with you?"

It was like this again, a light chill, with a bit of stubborn thorns, pricking me to wake up slightly. I looked up at the birds, who had already flown away, smiled and said, "It has nothing to do with me."

Because of my answer, her expression seemed to relax a little, and she said, "Since it's okay, please move aside. I have something else to do."

I didn't move, but put my hands on the wall on either side of her body and asked again, "Who did you meet?"

There was a mixture of surprise and anger in her eyes, but she looked angry but not daring to move. I don't know why, but this look made me feel soft inside.

She whispered angrily, "You still didn't tell me why you were here at this time?!"

I was silent for a moment. Looking at her clear eyes, I began to wonder whether I should tell her the reason. The almost absurd reason was that I saw a group of water birds that shouldn't be here.

After all, she was on that ship.

She still hasn't even recognized who I am.

I lowered my head and said, "Lisa, I..." Maybe we were too close, my chin almost touched the tip of her nose, she noticed it and turned her head slightly, but we were still close together. In this lonely riverside path late at night, I surrounded her, we looked into each other's eyes, and were about to tell each other our secrets.

I didn't finish my words.

Because someone else is coming.

uninvited guest.

We heard hurried footsteps and Lisa and I looked up at the same time. When we saw that person, we were both stunned.

There are no houses or buildings in this area, and the nearest residential area is hundreds of meters away. There is only a quiet construction site, sparse trees and a few street lights, and the whole road is dark and silent.

The man was running over from the direction of the residential area.

A very dirty, strange man with a small child on his shoulders.

His hair was very long and messy like knotted seaweed. His face was so dirty that it was hard to tell his features, but his eyes were bright and excited. He was wearing a wrinkled coat that was also so dirty that the color could not be seen. He was wearing a pair of sneakers with holes in them. He looked like a mentally ill homeless man.

The child, about five or six years old, seemed to be asleep, but he was wearing clean pajamas, and his white and tender feet were bare, looking very cute.

He ran across the road and saw us.

He grinned, revealing his yellow and black teeth. It was a very uncomfortable smile, because he seemed to be smiling happily, but also very bitterly. He ran very fast, and his feet were so light that they almost didn't touch the ground. He ran into the darkness in an instant.

Lisa grabbed my arm and said, "What the hell is this?"

But I heard a faint shouting in the distance, from the residential area.

"Stay still." I shook off her hand and chased after her.
