--Jungkook--

I thought I had met a sweet woman, nothing more, and now she casually showed me the sword behind her back.

She looked at me again, as if she was a little hesitant, bit her lower lip, and continued: "Your T-shirt is of a good brand, and your pants are new, but your shoes are very old and of a very cheap brand. This shows that you come from an ordinary family and are frugal by nature. Is it because you have recently helped your tutor with a project that you have earned money and come to travel? But..." She paused and looked me straight in the eyes: "Your girlfriend is very beautiful, but she dresses just as simply, which shows that her family background is similar to yours. But she doesn't have a single new piece of clothing or new shoes on her body. Some people only buy things for themselves, showing off their coolness and romance, but don't buy anything for her. Haha..."

I was stunned. I had never expected her to say that. Somi's appearance flashed through my mind, and I admit that I had never paid attention to what she was wearing. I finally had some extra money recently, and I sent all of it to my mother, except for the necessities of life. But my mother is frugal by nature, and she kept talking about saving money for me. Maybe she just couldn't bear to spend it. I didn't notice that she and Somi were wearing the cheapest second-hand clothes from a few years ago.

I said, "Have you said enough?"

She stared at me, and probably sensed that I was also angry. She slowly took a half step back and leaned towards the door. She looked like she was ready to run away at any time. She said, "Sir, don't think I want to pry into your privacy. I'm not interested. I just help others when I see injustice. You didn't expect that a stranger like me could simply judge your life with just a few words, right? Just like the book you threw away, you didn't read it carefully, did you? How do you know that it is not a wonderful and touching book? That book has won the championship of the youth literature bestseller list for 8 consecutive weeks! But you said it was garbage and nonsense. All this is because you are too self-righteous!"

I was stunned for a moment, not quite following the turn of events in her words. But she turned and walked towards the room, saying as she walked: "So, from the little things, you can tell that you don't really care about your girlfriend, and you just assume that she is watching trash. You don't understand and respect her enough.

You may be poor, hardworking, self-disciplined, smart and ambitious. But when you take her out for a trip, you keep talking about academic performance, comprehensive ability, and social competition. You are a person who has a strong purpose in everything you do.

A word of advice: Don't be too purposeful or too selfish in life. Otherwise, when you gain more in the future, you will definitely lose more. And what you lose will be the things you cherish most, and you will regret it at that time!

My heart suddenly felt like it was pricked by a needle. I looked at the proud back of this woman and wanted to grab her back. I wanted to defend myself, but I didn't want to.

"She's not my girlfriend." I heard my own cold voice saying, "She's my biological sister."

She stopped, looking a little embarrassed, but still stuck out her neck and said, "Same thing!"

After scolding me like this, she went into the house. I sat alone on the balcony. After a while, I looked down at the clock and it was already 5:20.

I went to Somi's room. She was still doing her Level 4 test paper, frowning and biting the tip of her pen. I touched her head and said, "Let's go eat." She immediately dropped her pen and cheered, "Oh yeah!"

I let Somi go into the restaurant first. I stood alone at the door of the restaurant.

The sky gradually darkened and it began to rain. The rain came so fast that it made the roof and deck of the boat clang. I leaned against the aisle, watching the restaurant door, and suddenly remembered that I didn't even know her name.

Later, I never learned her name again.
