--Jungkook--

She obviously hesitated for a long time. Finally, I heard her slowly exhale, seem to relax, and go back to talking to Xiaohua about the card application.

I knew she didn't recognize me.

Just like two people who met by chance, she would come here to repair her car, and maybe come back to wash her car in the future. But she and I will never have any intersection again.

I lowered my head and concentrated on repainting. For so many days, doing these tedious, heavy, and quiet things can calm my heart. But today, perhaps because the shop was too quiet, the other repairmen were more or less paying attention to her. Her soft voice, the voice she spoke to Xiaohua, was particularly clear and audible in the shop. Like a piece of silk, it was slightly shimmering and floating behind me.

She said: "She explained her name which meant the moon is bright and clear."

I was distracted for a moment, but I realized that she seemed to sense it and was staring at me again. I turned away and continued to work with a blank expression.

She finally stopped looking.

Her car job was small, so I finished it quickly. I looked up and saw her standing at the counter paying. I walked past her, still ignoring her, and sat down with a few other mechanics. Another mechanic handed me a cigarette, and I continued to smoke slowly. My hands were all greasy, spread out on my jeans, and there were many new and old scratches on them. I looked at my hands calmly, and I kept feeling her eyes on me.

After a while, Xiao Hua came running over with a strange smile on his face, patted my shoulder and said, "Brother Jeon, can I discuss something with you?"

I asked, "What's going on?"

He looked in the direction where Lisa was standing. She was looking down at her phone, not caring about anything. She was always like that. Xiao Hua said with a smile, "Ms. Lisa is willing to apply for a 300 yuan car wash card. I will complete my sales target for this month! But she has a condition, that she must ask Brother Jeon to wash her car every time in the future."

Several men nearby were stunned, all burst out laughing, and almost started to make a scene. I didn't expect her to make such a request, and I looked up. She must have heard the men's noises, and everyone was looking at her, and of course some people were looking at me with envy.

But she remained calm, as if she hadn't heard anything. If you didn't look closely, you wouldn't have noticed the blush on her cheeks.

What was she trying to do? Testing, provoking, humiliating, or showing pity? I felt a surge of heat in my chest, but it instantly cooled. I said, "Just wash it, I don't care." The store was not big, and I knew she must have heard it.

Then I stood up and dragged the hose to wash her car. After the mechanics started to make a fuss, they stopped making a fuss. I stood in the bright light at the door of the shop washing the car, and she kept waiting in the shop and didn't come out.

Her car was new, a typical car that a young, wealthy girl would buy. The interior was fairly tidy, with some unopened books on the back seat, all by the same author as "Seven Pearls". There was also a box of pens. Only the driver's seat cushion was a little wrinkled, with a few strands of her hair falling on it. The other cushions were all new, and it was obvious that few people had sat on them. It turned out that she was still alone, keeping to herself, with no one to accompany her regularly.

I washed the car very carefully and cleanly. When I was done, I threw away the hose and my vest was mostly wet. I wanted to take it off, but she was there, so I didn't move.

At this time, she finally put down her phone, which she had been playing with for a long time, and walked out of the store. She looked at me, but her eyes were a little evasive, not looking at me. I didn't know what she was avoiding. She said, "Thank you, Master Jeon."

I stared at her and asked, "Why did you choose me to wash it?"

"Oh, because Master Hua said you have the best skills," she said.

I threw the key to her, and she quickly reached out to catch it, saying, "Then...bye."

I said nothing and walked straight into the store.

I heard the sound of an engine starting behind me. I tore off my wet vest and threw it aside. I grabbed the hose and flushed it over my head.

I've gotten used to this kind of rough life.

The sound of water fell, and I subconsciously turned my head. I saw that her car had turned a corner and was about to drive away from the open space at the door, but her eyes were looking at me from a distance. Through the messy water drops, I saw that her eyes were clear and calm.

That's the look a woman gives a man.

Her car drove away. The water poured down over my head, instantly freezing me. I dropped the hose on the ground, fished out a half-soaked cigarette from my pocket, and put it in my mouth.

She didn't recognize me after all.

She mistook me for another man and assigned me to wash her car.
