Chapter 10

Sunrise, Spring 1953, Queen Magnolia's palace, Ancient Rabbits Tribe

Gideon and the Wise One went to Queen Magnolia's palace to tell her about the journey.

The queen of the Ancient Rabbits was sitting  there, bored. There were no meetings right now.

Gideon and the Wise One bowed before the Ancient Rabbits queen. They waited for permission to speak.

"Greetings, Gideon and the Wise One" Queen Magnolia said. "Speak"

The Wise One stood first as Gideon continued to bow. "I have received a dream from Leo" The Wise One said. "Me and Gideon are tasked to go on a perilous journey through the city of Tokyo to go to the Kazilla"

"The Kazilla. Such a powerful stone" Queen Magnolia said. "Leo thinks you're worthy enough to view the power?"

"Yes. All three of the gods" The Wise One said. "Starry Maple was there too"

"Starry Maple is truly the wisest cat in the forest" Queen Magnolia said. "I allow you to go. But first, will you stay for the meeting?"

"Yes" The Wise One said. Gideon nodded.

"Go on then. I'll be out in a moment" Queen Magnolia said. Gideon and the Wise One bounded out of the palace into the clearing.

Queen Magnolia stood up at the meeting place. "Tribe meeting!" She yelled. All the rabbits joined.

"Today we have two important announcements" Queen Magnolia said. "First, Holly is ready to become a warrior upon her request"

A cat with night black fur stood up with excitement as the rest of the rabbits saw her.

"Seriously? Out of all the rogues we could have accepted into our tribe and we accepted an ancient BLACK CAT?!" Mike yelled. "We could have accepted a lost and hungry rogue rabbit!"

"You don't need to be so rude, Mike" May sneered. "You know the Ancient Black Cats abandoned her because the rude mother requested so. Queen Petal and King Cougar were forced to"

"Oh right. Or else the cats would try to strip them from their leader duties" Mike said.

"Sunflower, is Holly truly ready to complete the warrior training?" Queen Magnolia asked. "Is she ready to join the path of a warrior?"

"Yes" Sunflower said.

"Holly, did Sunflower train you long enough to join the path of a warrior?" Queen Magnolia asked.

"Yes" Holly said.

"Holly, I believe you are ready to join the path of a warrior's spirit" Queen Magnolia said. "With the approval of Sunflower, me and the gods, you will become a full warrior of the Ancient Rabbits. You will hunt fully, fight fully, and patrol fully until you retire or die"

"Holly! Holly! Holly!" The crowd except Mike cheered.

"We have one more announcement before I assign sunrise patrols" Queen Magnolia said. "Gideon and the Wise One have been tasked to go on a journey to see the Kazilla. We shall wish them luck for they may return or they may have their lives stripped away"

"May Leo guide your courage and defend you. May Purple Wolf protect you. May Breezeblaze guard you and your spirit" The crowd said.

"Remember to call for Breezeblaze at night if one of you die so he can guide your spirit up to the stars to join the others" Queen Magnolia said.

"Thank you" The Wise One said as he and Gideon left the camp. Queen Magnolia went on the assign sunrise patrols.

As Gideon and the Wise One looked at their tribe behind them and continued to cross, they were pinned down by a fox pup.

Gideon got jumpscared thinking it was a grown fox. The fox pup jumped off them and looked at them with a playful bow.

His tail was wagging and his was baring his teeth at them.

"How dare you set paw into our territory!" The fox pup said in a cute voice. "This belongs to the Ancient Foxes"

"We're just passing through, young one" The Wise One said.

"Oh, you're an elder? I'll tell the king so they don't try to kill you" The fox pup said as he bounced into the territory.

Gideon and the Wise One saw the Ancient Foxes king. He was patting the fox pup.

"Nice job Roxy. We don't want to tear travelers up that don't deserve it" The king of the Ancient Foxes said.

Gideon and the Wise One walked past him and continued their journey. After some time, they were out of the forest.

They had to venture through the streets of Tokyo. This all belonged to the Japanese humans that would kill them if they caught the two magic controlling rabbits trespassing.
