Sunrise, Spring 1953, Human territory, Tokyo

Gideon and the Wise One were walking on the sidewalk and saw the gray path with white markings and double yellow lines on it.

Humans were riding their cars down the path. Cars were roaring and screeching at each other.

"This is the road. Humans ride their pet cars here" The Wise One said. "We have to cross it"

They padded to a crosswalk. Another girl that was on the phone and wearing airpods was also waiting to cross.

"This is where we cross. We wait until that white human pops up to cross" The Wise One said.

The red hand turned into a white person and Gideon and the Wise One dashed through the crosswalk.

"Thank the gods we didn't get swallowed by pet cars!" Gideon said.

Gideon led the way with the Wise One trailing behind, checking for danger. Gideon got shocked by a pet dog barking at them both.

"Hey, stop that! Leave them be!" The human yelled at the saint bernard. The human pulled out his phone and began to call somebody.

"Is he going to tell the dog's relative human?" Gideon asked.

"I'm not sure. It's best to leave them be" The Wise One said as they both continued to walk.

They both continued to walk along the sidewalk, passing by people and their pets. Whenever they cross the road, the asphalt stung burns on their sensitive paws.

People were shocked to see two random rabbits crossing the sidewalk like nothing's happening.

The pet dogs kept barking at them and the pet cats tried to eat them. Thanks to humans, they couldn't.

The Wise One felt humiliated to almost be attacked by pets while Gideon silently prayed to the gods.

He prayed to Leo to keep guiding them in the right way. He prayed to Purple Wolf to keep protecting them.

Gideon prayed to Breezeblaze to keep guarding them and guard their spirits from death.

If death comes, then Breezeblaze may or may not be able to hear the calls and guide the spirits to the stars to join the other ancestors.

Gideon silently hoped that Starry Maple might visit him in dreams. They continued to cross the road until they walked further from the city.

The city had a horrible stench of pet cars and the noise of monster cars continued to drive by.

"Leo's roaring mane!" Gideon swore. "It stinks like rotting bodies here!"

"We better go quick! Purple Wolf's howling coat!" The Wise One swore as they both dashed out of the place.

They finally made it to another forest. They were closer to the cave where the Kazilla is at.

"Breezeblaze's hissing stripes! What was the smell?" Gideon asked. "What are the pet cars doing? Defecating wherever they please?"

"It's their breath. The breath of the pet cars was what stunk" The Wise One said. "Also it was leaking out some fluid. I think it was throwing up. Humans these days."

"We should keep going. I don't want anything bad to happen to the Ancient Rabbits if we are taking longer than the earth can live!" Gideon said.

"Don't worry. We will make it" The Wise One said.

They heard the loud screech of a pet car nearby. It had the name "Animal Control" tattooed on it.

Gideon and the Wise One looked at the pet car behind them and their eyes widened in shock.

Whatever this pet car is, the human is allowing it to get up to some trouble and not caring.

Gideon couldn't make out the words as he just stood there in shock, facing the pet car. Leo needs to help guide his courage.

"R-run" Gideon stammered as the pet car got closer and closer to the two magic controlling rabbits.

"Animal snatchers! Run, Gideon!" The Wise One yelled as the pet car was forced to a halt by the human.

Gideon took the lead and ran as fast as he can. He ran like a hawk was about to snatch him.

Gideon ran like he was escaping prison. He ran like a human was about to shoot him. The Wise One trailed behind, defending him from the pet car.

Gideon continued to run until he didn't hear the sound of the Wise One's paw steps behind him.

"Wise One? Where are you?" Gideon asked as the pet car drove away. He noticed a tuft of white fur.

Did the Wise One run away? Gideon asked himself as he followed the trail. He heard the howling of dogs, either rogue or pets.

There wasn't an Ancient Dogs tribe anymore. It was drove out by the humans and their evil ways.

Just then, a large white paw grabbed him by the neck from behind. And Gideon was taken away.
