It's been 3 days since the shooting and Carlos hasn't left her side once.
DAY 4
Carlos was asleep with his head on her bed and her hand in his when she started waking up, Tk walked into the room to see a wide eyed girl staring back at him. Tears streaming down his face.
"Dad?" She sat up "are you ok? What's wrong?" When she fully sat up Carlos had shot his head up due to the movement in her bed "what's wrong? Opal? Huh" Carlos slurs, still have asleep as he falls off the chair he was asleep in "hahahahaha! Dad! your such a cluts!" She laughed "ow ow my stomach ow" she fell back on to the bed. "Pumpkin? Are you ok?" Carlos says frantically.
"I'm fine dad, just sore." She responded, sitting up again.
TK POV
She awake...

She's ok!
"Honey how are you feeling?" I walk over to her and sit down on the other side of the bed.
"I'm feeling ok dad, like I said before, I'm just sore." She said and I believed it.
"So how long till I can get out of here?" Carlos Laughs. "Not for a short while sweetheart." She pouts.
"But hospitals suck, i just wanna leave!" She whines
"Wow! You take after your dads in being a terrible patient." Dad walks into the room
"Grandpa!" Opal cheered.
"Hey Kiddo how are you feeling?" Dad walked over to stand beside me. "I'm fine I just wanna sleep in my own bed!" Opal said giggling
"Soon Mija, soon." Carlos runs his hands through his hair. BZZZZZZ! My phone went off

BUCK hey man wanna come to LA?
TK sure lemme just check with Carlos!

I put my phone away "dad, stay here with her, babe could we talk?" I get up as Carlos looks nervous.
"babe what's wrong?" Carlos asks, taking my hands in his. "nothing it's just, we were just invited down to la for the summer, i was thinking that i might be a good idea to get opal out of town for a bit." he smiled "i think that's a good idea too, i guess where going to La" i smile as we walk into the room hand in hand. "please tell me you didn't just propose without me there" opal blurts out. carlos starts laughing. "no not yet kiddo."
CARLOS POV
i walk over to her and sit on her bed "hey ops, how do u feel about going to La for the summer."
"CAN WE?" She Jumped as much as she could while sitting on the bed.
