opal is walking home from a friend's house when a van pulls up beside her and grabs her! they take her phone and call the contact labeled "dad❤️"
CARLOS POV
my phone is ringing, oh it's opal! "hey honey!" "we have your daughter so if you don't give us 200k dollars by friday she's dead" the voice on the other line says. i can hear opal crying from in the background. "dad! dad! help!" then her voice is muffled and i hear her crying.
"OPAL! OPAL! LET HER GO!"
They hung up and I broke down crying, tk came in
"Babe, what's wrong?" He ran over to me.
"Some... I... no!" I can't talk..... how... no. No no no NO NO NO NO NO NO. NO. PLEASE!!!!!!
"BABE! Look at me ok? I need you to take a deep breath and tell me what's wrong ok?" Tk runs his hands through my curls. I look into his eyes.
"S-Some-" I start gasping for breath.
"Shhhh breathe ok? In and out in and out, follow my lead ok baby? What happened?" Tk is holding my hands now. His hands feel soft. His green eyes are locked on my brown ones. I have to tell him.
"Someone took opal." I sob. He freezes. Shit...
"Baby?" Nothing.
"Tk...." Nothing
"Tk you're scaring me.. look at me please" I cup his face and make him look at me. He looks broken.....
Hazels crying snaps tk out of whatever trance he was in and without a word he gets up and goes to pick her up. I stand up after him.
"Baby? Are you ok....." I cautiously reach out for him.
