"Conrad."

"No, please don't stop, I'm clearly interrupting." He storms off.

"Will you go after him?" Jeremiah asks me, annoyed.

"Okay."

I jog in his direction.

"Conrad, Con."

"Leave it Y/N, I don't wanna talk to you right now."

"Don't shut me out again." I yell, which makes him stop and slowly turn around.

"Okay, if you want to talk, let's talk." He comes closer.

"I didn't want that to happen, Conrad, I didn't want him to do that, I pushed him off of me, I wanted to talk to you last night but you fell asleep."

"Okay, so you wanna be with Jeremiah now."

"Conrad."

"Or are you doing this to get my attention?"

"I'm not doing anything!"

"You sure? Cause you seemed pretty onboard with that kiss."

"This wasn't about you Conrad."

"Then go! Go," He pauses. "Stop chasing me and go be with Jeremiah, he's clearly the one you want, and he's better anyways! I don't want you, not anymore." He makes his way towards his dorm building.

"Shit." I hold my hand to my head, holding in tears. "Fuck."

I walk back to the car and we wait for Conrad.

"What happened then?"

"I'm not talking about it."

"He's gonna come back, I'm sure," He sighs. "What did he say to you, y/n."

"Nothing."

And that's all we talk about, for an hour, while we wait in the car.

"Excuse me," Conrad suddenly appears and chucks his bags in the trunk. "You guys ready to go?"

"We, didn't know if you were coming." Jere tells him, honestly.

"Of course I was, I promised Laurel i'd get Y/N home, and I just had to pack up my dorm."

"Here, you can drive."

"No, I don't trust myself behind the wheel right now," He puts on the most forced smile I've ever seen.

We both make a face.

"I didn't get much sleep, Relax."

He hops into the middle seat in the back and we start driving.

I play music as soon as we get going, and about half an hour in, is when Conrad starts acting up.

He hums loudly along to the music, and drums on the seats. After a few seconds, he leans forward and taps my shoulder.

"Y/N, you're gonna throw up if you keep reading your book."

"She's fine." Jere tells him.

"We'll, I don't know if you knew this, but y/n gets carsick, and reading makes it worse."

"I did, but she took a Dramamine earlier."

"No I didn't." I say.

"I thought you did."

"No, I told you that I'm saving all my money."

"You can't get Dramamine?"

"If I don't really need it I won't get it," I sigh. "But I wasn't feeling bad, so I knew I could still quiz you, for your test."
