It's Belly and Taylor's finals week as Sophomores at Finch.

This year has been so fun, living 15 minutes away from my sister, friends and my boyfriend is like a bit of a fever dream.

I've pulled an all-nighter with the girls while they study for their exams, and I've been bashing out the last few thousand words of my literaturey diss. We were allowed to do it on any topic concerning 'hope', which I think is a bullshit the,e but I've gone along with it, and I'm very happy with my piece.

I don't have time to get breakfast because I still have a few bits left to finish off. I work on my writing until 1pm, and then I turn in my final paper to my professor, and instead of making my way back to my room to sleep, I drive to Finch and wait outside of the girls exam for them.

Taylor and their other friend walk straight home, but Belly stays for a hug and a chat.

"How do you think it went?" I ask her,

"Pretty good, I think I've got a chance for at least a B."

"You'll definitely get more than a B, Bells." I assure her.

"Maybe, anyway I'm so sorry but I think if I don't make it to a bed soon I may pass out so, ill see you tomorrow."

"Bye Belly." I wave to her and make my way to my car and drive back to Brown.

I open my door to find Jere, laying fast asleep on my bed.

I grin, sit next to him and wake him up.

"Hey Jere." I kiss him on the cheek.

"Hey, did you finish your paper?"

"Yep."

"How was it?"

"Good, it was good."

"Great," He smiles. "I got you a subway, it's on the side there."

"Thanks, what did you get me?"

"I didn't know if you'd want your usual order or your other usual order, so I got meatballs, sweetcorn, cucumber, cheese and toasted."

"Okay, great, thanks." I get up and grab the bag, tucking into my sub.

He falls back asleep after a few minutes and I lay in his arms, slowly falling asleep too.

There is a knock at the door.

Again.

Again.

"I'm coming! I'm coming." I make my way to the door and open it. "Conrad?"

"Y/N." He breathes.

"What are you doing here? I haven't seen you for like, ages."

"I know," He pauses. "I love you, I'm sorry."

"I don't know what to say."

"You don't need to know."

"I, uh, Conrad."

This is so much for my mind to take.

Another knock, weird.

Another one.

Then I wake up.

My eyes open widely, and I put a hand to my forehead.

"What the fuck." I whisper.

I've been having these kinds of dreams more and more recently, I hate it, I hate that I've been ever so slightly on edge, I'm pretty sure it's because of these dreams.

"You okay pretty girl?" Jere looks at me, waking up too.

"Yeah, I'm fine." I assure him.

"Good, because we have a party tonight."

"Tonight?"

"Yeah, it's 9am."

9am? I slept from the afternoon all the way to 9am?

"We slept a while."

"Yeah, we did," He stands up and puts on his socks and shoes. "I'm gonna go get ready and I'll see you later, love you baby."

"Bye." I wave.

He shuts the door and leaves.

Why can I not get that dream out of my mind?

I haven't seen Conrad since Christmas, and that was for two days, it can't just be these few short dreams giving me a bad feeling. I don't want to admit it, but I think something might be up. I don't know what with, but it doesn't feel good.

I go through to our shared kitchen and make a bit of toast, and eat it over the course of an entire hour, what is wrong with me?
