Chapter 13

I took a bite of my chicken. "Thanks for bring me out to dinner, babe. But what's the occasion?" I asked Kayden.

He smiled, "Am I not allowed to take my lovely girlfriend out to dinner?" He asked.

"No, no, it's not that. Just we don't normally go out to eat, like ever." I respond.

"Fine you got me." He responded laughing.

"What's the occasion?" I asked again.
He held up a finger, "Hold on a second." He stood up and went to the front of the restaurant. I shrugged and rolled my eyes. The music suddenly changed to an instrumental version of A Thousand Years by Christina Perri. The lighting also dimmed. I looked for Kayden and saw him approaching with an enormous grin on his face. He stopped in front on my chair. He got down on a knee. My heart started beating a million beats a second.

"Rhynna. I know I haven't known you the longest.. But I don't care. I love you and I want to see your gorgeous face everyday for the rest of my life. With that being said.. Will you marry me?" He lifted a box with a absolutely brilliant ring in it. I covered my mouth with my hands. I got out of my chair, not caring if anyone was watching, got down on my knees in front of him.

"Yes!" I cried and then I kissed him passionately. He grinned, pulling away as everyone in the restaurant started clapping. He slipped the ring on my finger, then kissed each of my fingers on that hand. I stood up, pulling him up with me. Wrapping my arms around his neck. He lifted me up, off the ground for a second before placing me down and kissing me.

"I love you." I whispered

"I love you too, more than you'll ever know." he responded.

"Can we get out of here?" I asked suggestively.

He winked, "Of course!" We walked up to the front of the restaurant and he paid. Then we left and sped off to our house. I ran inside with him chasing me. I laughed as he tried to tickle me but I lunged out of the way. He growled chasing me into our room, shutting the door behind him. I fell back on the bed as he hovered over me. He kissed my neck, suckling on it and biting it. I knew he was leaving a hickey. A groan escaped my lips as I pulled his lips up to mine. He in one quick move, pulled my shirt over my head. I pulled his over his head and admired his abs for a second before kissing his lips, then his jaw, down to his neck. I left him a hickey because it's only fair. He pulled me away only to crash his lips on mine. I moaned as he started unhooking my bra. I grinned against his lips. When he started unbuckling his jeans, I realized that I honestly couldn't love anyone more than I loved this man.

I opened my eyes. I was laying in my bed, next to my fiancé. God, I loved saying that. I got up and got dressed in one of Kayden's shirts before heading into the kitchen. I looked at the clock 9am. Kayden usually slept in later, like 10 or 11am. I started making myself breakfast. Just as I sat down, with my breakfast. Kayden came in rubbing his eyes.

"Why did you leave, baby? I was so comfy!" He complained. I laughed at him. He turned and headed back into our room to get dressed as I shook my head and took a sip of my hot chocolate, still smiling. He came back in, now dressed. "So, we should get married soon right? Like when do you want to?" He asked.

I shrugged, "Maybe like 3 months?" I responded. His eyes widened.

"That long? Why not next month?"

I laughed, "We gotta mail invites, pick a day, talk to a priest about that day, I need to get a dress, you need a tux, and so many other things!"

His eyes widened, "That's a lot of stuff to do." I nodded chuckling. "Let's get started, then!" He exclaimed. He stood up and grabbed the calendar from the wall. He opened up to three months, July. "How about July 23rd?" He asked.
