CHAPTER XXIV

SATURDAY
————————————————————AFTER MEGUMI CAME HOME AND WE ALL ATE, Satoru and I began getting ready for the night ahead of us.
I sat on Satoru's bed brushing my hair while he was in the shower, and the thought of how all of this came about crowded my head.
First I met him at work and now we're going to Malaysia together for a wedding? This is all happening before he's asked me to be his girlfriend.
However by now I already feel like his wife more than anything, but I'd rather not get ahead of myself.Everything that Suguru said to me that day in the elevator was right, Satoru could and did change my whole life, and he did it at the snap of his fingers.
Aside from the extravagant living and expensive experiences, I really do like him for who he is as a person.
He's basically everything I could have wished for, and he chose me out of everyone?Satoru came out of the shower with a towel wrapped around his waist and headed towards his closet in order to choose something to wear for the night.
I was fully dressed and all I need to do was my hair and anything extra.
All jokes aside, Satoru looked delicious.
Droplets of water beaded on his toned back, a towel sitting lowly on his hips, exposing his v-line, and his hair wet in front of his face.
I'd fine dine on that v-line, and I mean it."You look gorgeous, Angel." he approached me with a smile and lifted my chin with his hand.
"Thank you, Satoru." I moved his hand to my cheek and held it there with mine.
He lowered his head to plant a soft kiss on my lips and I accepted gladly.
He moved away and buttoned his shirt while looking in his large full-length mirror that was against the wall in front of his bed.
Satoru moved aside to reveal me in the mirror and I got up from the bed to stand next to him and check myself out.
"We look like a good pair." I posed slightly after adjusting my clothes.
"Two peas in a pod." he buttoned his pants and posed with me.
"That too." I let out a laugh and turned to face him and approached him.
I kissed him and he held me in his arms for a while.

Satoru and I arrived at the bar we agreed to meet at and quickly spotted the black-haired man on his phone, waiting for us.
"I never thought I'd see you again, Mrs. Gojo." Suguru playfully shook my hand with a wide smirk.
Satoru laughed at the joke and shook Suguru's hand with a hug.
Suguru led us to a small table with enough space for the three of us and we all sat down together.
"Excited for Malaysia next week?" Suguru asked us and Satoru let out a snicker, which confused the black-haired man.
"Mrs. Gojo over here only found out today that she's going to Malaysia next week." Satoru referred to me as Mrs. Gojo and I couldn't help but blush with a smile.
"You're lying! That's so unfair to her."
"Yeah, I was only told today. And I thought I was staying behind." I rolled my eyes in annoyance.
"And what are you going to wear?" Suguru put both of his elbows on the table and held his head up with his hands, all while giving a certain look to me.
"That's where I come in. We're picking outfits for her tomorrow." Satoru spoke proudly as he flicked his wrist to fix his watch.
"She deserves a lot more than just a few outfits." Suguru raised an eyebrow and hinted at something else.
"I keep that in mind," Satoru smirked playfully.
"I'm here too." I pouted and averted my gaze.
"We're talking about you, Angel." Satoru reached his hand out to hold mine.
"Suguru, how are you and your girlfriend?" I asked out of curiosity because it was going to eat me alive if I didn't ask.
"How do I put this...it's coming to the end of our relationship, I know it." he sighed, and I felt pity for him.
"But you're going to Malaysia with her for the wedding?" I spoke out of impulse, but it didn't seem to cause a problem with either of the men sitting next to and in front of me.
"Yeah, paying for half of the shit. But after that I'm breaking up with her." he raised his hands in the air, signalling defeat.
"May I ask what the issues were? I'm just curious." I kept talking, and now I could feel the regret eating at my gut but I pushed through it.
"She's possessive, insecure, a pain in the ass honestly. I mean she had a huge issue with my little work friendship with you." he rolled his eyes, however, I felt like speaking my mind today.
"I mean Suguru, you didn't tell me you had a girlfriend." I let out a sarcastic laugh.
"Why would I?" he cocked an eyebrow, and Satoru looked at both of us with an invested expression.
"I don't know, just seeing how I spoke about getting married so often, I just thought it would be something to bring up." I shrugged and looked away.
"Well, getting married and Victoria don't go together. You'd have to pay me millions of fucking Yen to marry her, and you'd have to make the deal with me while drunk." he lay back in his chair with a laugh and crossed his arms.
"That's the first time I even heard her name." I was surprised to see that she had an English name, just like my manager.
"You met her last night." Suguru furrowed his eyebrows and spoke as if it was obvious.
"No, I didn't, she didn't even introduce herself, let alone speak a word to anyone." I gained some form of confidence, which was surprising to both men.
"We fought in the car." he snickered.
"Makes sense." I sat back, relieved that u got my answer.
"But hey! It seems like we're all going to have a great time in Malaysia together." Satoru sounded excited about the trip, and he had all right to be.
"And when you two get married, that shit better be on a watch mojo top ten list." Suguru cackled.
"What are you even talking about." I scratched my head in confusion.
"Actually, I'm planning the wedding," Suguru spoke confidently.
THE WEDDING?
