CHAPTER XXV
————————————————————
SUNDAY
————————————————————I WOKE UP IN A VERY FAMILIAR ROOM WITH A VERY FAMILIAR MAN SLEEPING NEXT ME WITH NOTHING ON.
My eyes scanned the room in confusion and spoke out loud due to how absurd it all felt.
"Are we in my apartment?" my eyebrows were furrowed and I analysed everything around me, even my current state.
A groan came from the man next to me and he opened his eyes to look up at me.
"This isn't your house." I chuckled and got up, walking towards my closet in order to cover myself up.
"We landed in your apartment?" he put his hands behind his head and rested comfortably against the pillows underneath him.
"Somehow...how'd that happen?" I yawned and slipped back into bed with Satoru.
"Drove drunk." he let out a laugh and I rolled my eyes.
"That's not a good look on Gojo Satoru." I poked his chest.
"It isn't a good look on Mrs Gojo either." he put a hand behind my head and stroked my hair.
"I have more to lose than you do." I looked up at him and put a leg over his waist.
"Doesn't really matter, what does matter is how fucking comfy this bed is." he fixed the covers around him to maximise the experience.
"I'm glad it's my day off today...what are we doing anyway?" I twirled stands of his hair in my fingers."We're going to shower, get ready and then I'm taking you shopping for a dress to wear for the wedding." he sat up and rubbed his eyes with a yawn.
He walked to my bathroom and turned the shower on.
While the water ran, he poked his head out and motioned for me to join him, which I gladly accepted.• • •
Satoru clipped his watch on and fixed this collared shirt while I adjusted my outfit in front of my mirror.
"You want to grab breakfast first?" he asked while slipping his shoes on.
"Yeah, I'm pretty hungry." I chuckled and walked out of my room to meet him in the lounge.
I stared at the flowers he got for me when he took me on that date, and they were surprisingly still alive.
Satoru walked out and took both of our coats off the hook in order to put them on.
He put his on first and then held mine up for me to slip into, like he always does.• • •
Satoru and I arrived at one of the many international malls in the country and he parked underground.
"So, what do you want, Angel?" he leaned against the car and sipped at his coffee.
"A nice dress to wear for the wedding, but not white." I paced around and he chuckled.
"The white dress comes after Nanami's wedding," he spoke in a way that didn't make me catch on to what he was saying until a bit later.
"I was thinking, you probably don't have any warm weather clothes for the trip, so we might as well go on a little bit of a spree. What do you say?" he continued.
"I would really love that, but it's up to you. It's your money at the end of the day." I felt bad to have him spend money on me.
"We're going on a spree." he sounded adamant and took my hand in his.
He walked past the H&M, Zara and every normal clothing store in the mall, and when I realised where he was heading I began sweating due to the thought of the price tag.
"I'm pretty sure Prada must have some nice things, what do you say?" he asked as if it were second nature, which it definitely was not for me.
"Sure, we can check it out." I smiled and followed him into the Prada store.
We spent a while in there, browsing what they had to offer, and he made me try on a few things.
The new summer collection was genuinely everything I was thinking of, and even though we hadn't checked any other stores yet, I was pretty set on the clothes they had here.
Even though Parada doesn't typically specialise in clothes."I quite like this stuff, what do you think?" I asked while holding up one of the summer shirts in front of my body to imagine how it would look on me.
"Me too, I have a few things from the men's collection picked out too. I'm so bad for buying more clothes for myself." he giggled and grabbed a pair of beach shorts.
"We're still looking for a nice dress for you. Where do you think they'll have something nice?" he added and I shrugged, hoping he would have a better answer.
"We'll find it, but let's go pay so long." he held multiple items that we had both chosen and carried them to the till.
The woman folded and packed the items away neatly in a branded bag.
"So now you have nice sandals, bracelets, bags and some nice summer clothes. All that's left is a dress and a ring on that finger." he teased me and I rolled my eyes with a smile.
Satoru pulled his card out, ready to pay but I stopped him before he could commit such an atrocity to his bank account.
"I'll pay my half, please." I took my card out and he pushed it against my chest and tapped the card on the machine before I could react.
Hold on, roll that back.
He tapped that on his card. That was a five-digit number that was displayed on the machine.
And he tapped it, on his card.
Moving on.
"Time to find a nice dress for you, Angel." he walked out of the store holding the bags on his arm.
"I thought some of the ones we picked out were quite nice." I pouted and snooped in the bags.
"Those are outfits for the day, they're not wedding guest dresses." he snatched his arm away and continued walking.
"I guess we can keep looking." I chuckled and laced my arm around his as we walked together.
"I want you to look stunning, you get me?" he chuckled and I laughed it off.
"I GET YOU, SATORU."

@SCYKHSa/n
I am so sorry this is a whole WEEK late.
I had a brain fart while writing half of the chapter last week and gave up on it.Also, I haven't been to a designer store in recent memory, so I probably have the whole depiction completely wrong.
I did check out the Prada summer collection and oh my fucking god is it amazing.I love reading your comments and don't be shy to speak your mind in my books. :3
