CHAPTER XXVI
————————————————————
SUNDAY
————————————————————

BOTH OF US VISITED MANY DIFFERENT LUXURY STORES LOOKING FOR A DRESS THAT I COULD WEAR AS A WEDDING GUEST.

Finally, we settled on the best option and I was truly in love with it. It suited me and Satoru took about a thousand pictures of me in it.

"You look beautiful in that dress, Angel," he spoke while looking at his phone, and once I peeked over, I noticed he was looking at the pictures he had taken of me.

A waiter came out with food we had previously ordered and Satoru tucked his phone away and turned to face me.

"Alright, so we're going to go past your place so you can pick out some nice clothes, then we go home and you have to model strut all your new outfits." he sounded so excited to see me in what he bought for me, and even I was looking forward to it.

"Pick out some nice clothes?" I raised a brow while taking a mouthful of food on my fork.

"Going out for dinner tonight, silly." he winked at me and drank from his glass.

"Oh, alright. That sounds nice." I smiled and kept eating.

"And don't forget your toiletries and pyjamas." he seemed deep in thought.

"I should just have separate toiletries and clothes for your place." I chuckled and his face lit up,

"We should actually go buy that. Are there any specific products you use?" he seemed ready to take a mental note but I had to stop the train from de-railing.

"Yeah, but I can just go pick them out in my spare time." I smiled and squeezed his hand.

"No! There's a place to buy them here, and I'll get anything else you want too." he pointed in the general direction of the store and I laughed it off.

"I'll pay, don't worry." I nodded, knowing that I couldn't have him pay for more of me.

"Stop with your paying bullshit, I am paying." he was adamant and I gave up on fighting it.

"Okay, handsome." I chuckled and kept eating.

It was quiet between us but both of our mouths were full of food and I noticed Satoru's expression change.

"Shit, I'm so stupid." he put his utensils down and groaned due to frustration.

"What's wrong?" I asked him and he laughed it off.

"I forgot to get clothes for Megumi." he rubbed his eyes through his glasses.

"Maybe he can pick them out, we can take him this coming week," I reassured him and he seemed to be at ease.

"You're right, then we can go out as a little family." he smiled and I felt something climb up my stomach into my throat.
I wouldn't call them butterflies, but it's a good feeling.

"Of course." I smiled and held his hand.

"I'm just going to order some food for him so he can eat at home," Satoru called a waiter up and recited an order for the black-haired boy sitting at home.

I continued eating while he was gone and recognised a pattern of footsteps approaching me, and so I lifted my head to see who it was.

"Hello, Gorgeous." the black-haired man pulled a chair to our table and sat next to me.

"It's been a while, hasn't it." I giggled and put my fork down to face him.

"Only eighteen hours. What are you guys up to?" he checked his watch and let out a chuckle.

"Shopping for the wedding, but he's inside ordering food for Megumi." I referenced Satoru and pointed inside the restaurant, where he was speaking to a waiter.

"Great kid. But yeah, I'm also here shopping with the girlfriend." he rolled his eyes and had

"The girlfriend?" I snorted and raised my eyebrows at his way of referring to his partner.

"She's busy choosing a dress. I think if I sat in there for any longer I might have thrown up." he rolled his eyes and acted dramatic.

"It's not that bad." I laughed and assumed he hated the part of waiting for a choice to be made over the dress.

"No, it is. Those scented candles are terrible." he rubbed his nose and crossed his arms, slouching in his chair.

"Someone save him, he's being forced to shop with his girlfriend," I said sarcastically.

"Stop your shit." he swatted my hand and I pulled it back.

A woman approached us, holding shopping bags and had a displeased expression on her face.
Suguru turned around and rolled his eyes after she realised who she was.

"How was the shopping?" he sounded unenthusiastic and she didn't look happy to see me.

"It was fine, but there weren't many dresses to choose from." the frown on her face didn't leave.

"It looks like you have five in there." Suguru peeked into the bags and teased her passive-aggressively.

"Just take me home." she rolled her eyes and took her phone out.

"Hi, I'm Y/n by the way." I smiled at her and she didn't return it.

"Suguru's work wife? Yeah right, go fuck yourself." she gave me a dirty look and glared at me, which left me feeling offended.

"Victoria what the hell." Suguru furrowed his eyebrows, visibly upset at his girlfriend.

"She's my wife actually, and take your words and stick them up your ass instead," Satoru spoke up with a grin while walking towards the table.

"Sorry, Gojo. I'll be on my way." she held her head down and walked away from us.

"I'll see you two soon, enjoy your day." Suguru scoffed at her behaviour but didn't fail to give us a proper goodbye.

"Bye, Suguru." I hugged him and waved him off.

Satoru sat back down and so did I, however, I felt a bit embarrassed over my previous interaction with Victoria.

On the other hand, I felt quite special because of Satoru referring to me as his wife.

"What's wrong, Angel?" he asked, seeming very concerned over my state.

"I just feel a bit upset with being told to go fuck myself." I frowned and he took my hand in his, squeezing it tightly.

"She's not going to say anything to you again. And if she does, it's not going to end well." he kissed my hand and smiled at me.

"I'M GLAD."
