Unexpected Pairing

Addison's POV
 
It's 7:28 and Meredith is still asleep. I'm letting her sleep in a little bit, deciding to wake her up at 7:30. I'm about to get up to start getting our clothes when I hear someone rapidly knocking on the door. I walk over and open it.

"Oh! Dr. Montgomery." Izzie says surprised and confused. "Uhh...is Meredith here?"

"Yes, she's still sleeping."

"Okay. Uh... let her know we're leaving soon.

"I wil, but she's coming with me."

"Okay. I would cover that up if I were you." She points to my chest before leaving.

  I close the door and look down at my chest seeing a hickey on top of my left breast. I'm a bit confused on how that happened, but then I look at Meredith and see that she doesn't have her paci. I shake my head and walk over to Meredith.

"Mer, princess, wake up." I softly say, pushing a piece of hair back.

"I no wan" She whined, hiding in the pillow.

"I know baby, but it's Friday." I sooth her back.
"You can sleep in tomorrow."

  Meredith huffs before stretching and then sitting up. She does as she's told and goes brushes her teeth. While shes in the bathroom I pick her clothes; a pair of jeans and a maroon long sleeve. I also get mine; black pencil skirt and I maroon blouse that covers most of my chest. While she's still there I start changing. She comes out just as I'm starting tuck my blouse into my skirt.

"I finish." Meredith announces as she walks towards me.

"Okay, baby. How you feeling? You big?"

She looks down and shrugs. "I don't know. It like I little but big at the da same time."

I quickly understood her. "That's okay, princess. You're between spaces, it's going to happen sometimes. Now let's get you dressed and do your hair.

  I help Meredith put her clothes on. Once I finish I go and put her socks on. Once her socks are on, I put a pillow on the floor and sit on the bed. I tell her to sit, and she listens, and I quickly do a french braid.

"Okay, baby, let's go downstairs."

  Meredith goes out and I hear her slowly going down. While she's going down I grab out bags and head down too.

"Princess, your shoes."

"Otay, mama." The new name caught me by surprise, she has never called me that. Like never.

"Mama!" Apparently I spaced out because now here she was with both of our shoes.

"Thank you, baby. Let's get them on."

I quickly put my heels while standing up and then I walk with Meredith to the couch to put hers. Once our shoes are on we leave with 10 minutes left. I put Meredith on the front, putting her seatbelt on, then putting our bags in the back.

"Okay, baby. Can you try and be big for me?" I softly ask her once in the car.

"I try."She cutely smiled at me.

It didn't take us long to get there. Thankfully, Meredith was no longer in her headspace when we got there. We got out of the car and grabbed our bags. To my surprise, Meredith kissed me and went inside of the hospital. I, a little shocked, stayed there a few seconds before also going in.

Im in the lobby waiting for my intern of the day to come. It's been about ten minutes and they haven't shown up.
