Meredith's POV

Today I want to do something a little special for Addison. It's been a while since I've showed my girlfriend side as I like to call it. Plus, I'm out of headspace this morning. I want to make her feel like my everything because that's what she is.

I quietly go and brush my teeth, get dressed for today, and then head downstairs. I enter the kitchen and take out what I need to make pancakes. Last night I ask Izzie for some help and she premade the batter for me and explained when I should flip them. I turn the stove at a medium high and pour out for two pancakes. While they're cooking on one side I wash the strawberries and place them on a towel to dry.

In about 30 minutes I finish making 6 pancakes- I struggled with some. I placed some cut strawberries and also filled a cup with orange juice, though I think apple is better. Anyways I set everything on a bed stray and start heading upstairs. I somehow manage to open and close the door. I quietly walk to the bed and place the tray on Addison bedside table.

"Good morning, gorgeous." I caress her cheek, softly walking her up.

"Mmm... 'morning." Addison groggily smiles, lightly rubbing her eyes.

"I got a surprise for you." Maybe the smell hasn't registered into her brain yet. Anyways. I pick up the tray and set it on her lap making her open her eyes.

"Oh wow! Meredith- thank you!"

"You're welcome." I peck her cheek. "Today we have a fun day ahead of us, so fuel up!" I get up and grab my phone and head towards the door. "Dress comfortable. I'll be back soon." I smile and leave the room.

Once out I text Cristina. I had talked to her about this a few days ago. I reminded her that I'll text her once we're close to the house so she can set my room with rose petals, but also set my bathroom and add candles. Like I said, I want to do something special for Addison. I just know she's going to like it.

"You ready, babe?" I ask, entering the room again.

"Almost. I'm just finishing braiding my hair." Addison looked at Meredith through the mirror and smiled. Addison was about to tie her braid.

I walk over to Addison and wrap my arms around her. I kissed her cheek and gently sway both of us. I then looked down and place a long kiss on top of Addison's head.

"You know I obsessively love you, right?" I peck her temple.

"I do. I love you to the point I feel I can't breathe without you." Addison kisses my forearm.

"Okay. More of this later, let's layer up so we can leave."

Addison and I put our coats, hats, and scarfs. It was honestly getting colder by the day. November was getting closer, which meant the snow was coming soon. Anyways, once got all layered up and headed to the car. I told Addison to not bring a bag since I already had one in the car for both of us.

"You know, I have never been a little for winter." I casually say as I start pulling out of the driveway.

"Really?!" Addie sounded surprised. I nod in response. "Honestly, it makes sense. It's your first time being a little freely." She placed her hand on my thigh. "I'll make sure this is the best winter you've ever had."

"Thank you." I flash a smile at her. "Enough about me, today is about you." I place one of my hands on top of hers. The ride is about a 10 minute drive.

The drive was filled with giggles and laughter and a lot of talking. I honestly missed our relationship outside our mommy and little bond. I really want to strengthen this side of our relationship, I really do.
