Unexpected Pairing

Meredith's POV

  Thankfully is Friday. That means last day working with Burke. I'm just about halfway through my shift. Today instead of going to the cafeteria the interns and I decided to go to our spot- the basement.

"You guys have any plans for tonight?" Cristina looked around as she asked.

"No." They all answered in unison.

"Mer?" Cristina looked at me.

I shrugged my shoulders. "I don't know. I'll have to check, you know." I responded, trying to hint her about my regression.

"Just let me know okay." She gave me a soft smile. "Okay since yall don't have plans let's go to Joes tonight."

"Sounds good to me!" Izzie said, the other nodding in agreement.

"Mer, you're acting weird lately. What's wrong with you?" Alex randomly asked. Honestly the the tone he used to ask the question hurt a little.

"Nothing is wrong. I just- I changed that's all." I responded, hoping it would back him off.

"Are you sure? It's not because you're getting into Montgomery's panties?"

"I-"

"Enough!" Cristina yelled at him. "You're always criticizing her. Leave her alone." I look at Cristina kind of amused, but also surprised.

"Uh, I gotta go." I felt the tears behind my eyes which meant I had to go.

  Without another word or looking back I left. I went straight to the attending locker room and went to Addison's locker. I took my bag from all the way in the back and looked for my paci. I know I have an extra one here. A few seconds later and I found it and quickly put it in my pocket. I need to find an empty on-call room.

  Right now I feel very sensitive. My week has been crap and Alex's comment did not help. I honestly don't care if I'm being "too sensitive" or "too dramatic" about the situation. I've learned it's better to let it out then hold it in, all thanks to my Addie.

  I thankfully find an empty on-call room on the second floor next to the supply closet. Once in, I lock it and let my tears run. I really needed Addie and skin to skin. I sat down and place my paci in my mouth. Then I took my phone out and texted Addie to come when she could. Apparently she wasn't doing anything because in about 8 minutes she texted me that she was at the door. Before I let her in I wiped my tears, I didn't want her to worry. Either way she knew something was wrong.

Addison placed her hands on my cheeks and lifted my head up. "Oh, my princess. What's wrong?" My tears started running again.

" I don know." I felt myself starting to go in between headspaces. "I feewing sentatitive."

"Sensitive, baby?" I nodded my head 'yes'

"Awex said something mean." I sniffed. "Cristina yell at him. She pwotect me mama." I slip from Mama's hold and lay my head on her chest.

"That's very good of Cristina, baby." She wrapped her arms around me. "Let's lay down for a bit baby. Let's calm down with mama,okay?"

  Addison let me go and locked the door. I sat on the nearest bed and waited for Addison to come. Standing in front of me she took off her top and then helped me with mine. I don't know how she knew what I needed, I never told her. She then laid down and I then laid on her right side. I place my head on her shoulder and she wrapped her arms around me.

"Oh, my baby. You just want your mama don't you." I let out a whine. "It's okay princess." Mama ran her fingers through ny hair. "Soon we'll go home and you can spend all weekend with me."

At this point I melted into mama. I'm starting to love skin to skin contact. It helped me regress more, but it also helped me to calm down. Plus Mama was always so warm and so soft. I love my mama.

  The interns and I were ready to leave, but I pulled Cristina to the side. I asked her if we could meet Addison quickly at the lobby. Of course she said yes, but what caught me off guard is that she said she wanted to talk to her too. We went back with the interns and we all went down to the lobby. I immediately saw Addie and pulled Cristina.

"Ready to go, baby?" Addison asked standing up.

"Uh, I actually wanted to ask you something." Addison raised an eyebrow. I honestly was kind of nervous. "Can I go to Joes tonight with the interns?"

"Of course you can, just be careful."

"Thank you."

"I'm not drinking. I'll look after her." Cristina jumped in. "Also, can I ask you something?" Addie nodded. I took a few steps back not wanting to intrude.

  I honestly was curious, but just like I did, I know she will tell me when she's ready. Thankfully they  didn't take that long and we soon left.

  Tonight was so fun. Cristina is driving me back home along with the others. I think I had a little too much tequila which definitely wasn't a good idea. I'm starting to feel very little and the fact I'm tired isn't helping.

"Okay guys we're here." Cristina announced a little too loud for my drunken ears. The inters did get down except me.

" 'tina. Help pwease. I no do it." My bottom lip is now slightly wobbling.

"Okay, hon. You think you can walk?" I shake my head no. "Okay, let's piggy back ride." She softly smiled.

  She got out and walked around the car and opened the door. Then she got down and I got on her back. She effortlessly carried me.

"Wow! 'tina strong." Tina giggled but I don't know why. Maybe she think I'm funny.

  We enter the house and we go up the stairs and into my room. Mama is sitting down on the bed reading. I guess tina told her we coming.

"She's really little. She's also very drunk. I tried to stop her but as you can see I miserably failed."

  Tina sat me in the bed and left. Mama locked the door and came to me. She said it was time for a shower so she helped me undress. She also undressed and we went to the bathroom and she helped me shower. She wrapped me up in my towel and we walk to the bed. I sat down as she quickly dried herself and put a pair of underwear. She then got a diaper and diapered me up.

"Skin?" I asked wondering why we didn't have clothes.

"Yes, baby, skin."

  Mama got on the bed and got comfortable before she called me over. I crawled my way to her and laid down on top of her with my head in her chest. I felt comfortable, but I needed something else.

I lift my head looking at her. "Mama, boobie?" I tilt my head to the right.

"Yes, baby. You can have boobie." Mama giggle. I don know why everyone laughing.

  I scoot lower and attach myself to one of mama's boobie. Now I was comfy. I have my mama now. I missed her today. I love her lots.
