Meredith was honestly ready to leave Burke's service. Cardio wasn't her thing. OB was okay, she mostly liked it because her girlfriend was head of it and because babies are cute. Plus they spent more time together and she could slip. Now she had to wait until shift was over, she stopped slipping as much during lunch because it started getting a bit hard to slip out.
Looking past everything, Meredith was excited. Addison started taking the lactating pills that morning. Addison told her the milk should start coming in about two weeks. Besides being excited, Meredith is also feeling very grateful. Grateful because Addison is going to help both of them grow in this journey.

It's was lunch time, but Addison couldn't see Meredith at any table, not even the one where Cristina was at. Addison decided to walk outside to see if she was at one of the benches or one of the tables. After a few seconds she noticed Meredith at one of the benches. She had her legs to her chest with her arms resting on her knees and her forehead resting on her arms. Addison saw her and she got concerned, immediately walking over.
"Meredith?" Addison carefully approached her.
"What?" She rudely exclaimed, lifting her head up.
"Baby, what's going on?" Addison softly said while sitting down, sensing that something was wrong.
"Nothing. I'm fine." Meredith put her head down again, looking away from Addison.
"Baby." Addison carefully put a hand on her shoulder. "Don't lie to me, please. I know you're not okay."
After a few seconds Meredith spoke. "I don't like Burke. He's mean and is always piling work on me. He gives me all the work. The only time he ever does something is when we have a surgery." Meredith sighed. "And I miss you. And I feel like I'm being a horrible girlfriend." Meredith hid her face. "I feel like I'm a horrible girlfriend and I hate it. I hate it because I feel like neglecting this other side of you and because I feel like I'm not doing enough for you." Meredith voice was trembling. She had let everything out. She was overwhelmed.
"Meredith..." Addison moved closer and pulled Meredith into a hug. "Baby, you aren't neglecting any part of me. You do more than enough for me. Just you being with me already makes you the perfect girlfriend in my eyes." Addison pulled away a little to look at her in the eyes. "I love you. Nothing is ever going to change that".
"I love you too." Meredith hugged Addison back. "I really don't like working with Burke though." Meredith added with a serious tone, making Addison chuckle.
"Okay, baby. We'll work that out."

Meredith had a heart valve surgery in about 40 minutes, but her mind was all over the place. She needed her thoughts to stop, but they just wouldn't. She did the first thing that came to mind. She got her phone off her white coat and called Addison.
"Hi, Mer. You okay?" Addison answered.
"I'm not little. Just meet me at the on call room close to OR 2. Please." Meredith hanged up, not letting Addison to say anything else.
Meredith was close so she got there first. As she waited for Addison she paced in the room. Around 4 minutes later Addison entered. Once she saw her, Meredith basically jumped into Addison's arms. Addison could feel that Meredith was stressed. Meredith hugged Addison tighter, yet she still felt like she wasn't close enough to her.
"Closer." Meredith pleaded desperately, moving her head around while starting to hyperventilate.
"What, baby?" Addison didn't quite understand Meredith.
