𝙻𝙰𝚃𝙴𝚁 𝚃𝙷𝙰𝚃 𝙽𝙸𝙶𝙷𝚃With the recent season change, the chill of the October fall air starts to creep up on us. I'm glad I decided on a short, long sleeved dress for the club that hugs my curves just right, as well as keeping me from freezing my ass off.
Pulling up to the nightclub with Jada and her childhood friends Serena and Iyana, who I met a few times prior, it felt good. A girl's night out was just what I needed to distract myself from Derek.
Jada told me that he and 'Vonte took some of their friends bar hopping across town and I was glad, because it would give me time away from him to sort out my feelings before I confront him about them.
So, I needed to push Derek out of my mind as much as possible tonight and I'm sure a few drinks and a good time with my friends will help me do that.
With Iyana being the designated driver for the night, we pregamed with some peach vodka and coke in the car, our laughter and the music from the car stereo drowning out most of our pre-club jitters. By the time we stumbled our way into Temptation, we were feeling good.
The bass of the music could already be felt, vibrating under my feet as the four of us walked up to the entrance. Neon lights illuminated the night, attracting all sorts of people who were also there, looking for a good time.
"Fuck, we look good!" Serena said, giving all of us a once over.
The club was packed with bodies, the music thumping with Erica Banks playing loudly through the speakers. Women recording themselves on their phones, having a good time, the dj in the booth hyping everybody while niggas all through the club, get twerked on, the scent of cologne and the slight tinge of weed and alcohol filling the air.
We made our way over to the bar, managing to grab a few empty stools.
"Damn, what time that nigga get off?" Iyana asked, checking out the bartender, flipping her beach curls behind her shoulder. He finishes serving a round of drinks and Jada manages to speak in between swaying her hips.
"Un uh, girl you already know these toxic ass bartenders are just eye candy, not to be touched," Jada said, laughing as she tilted her head back.
"Yeah, girl. Leave that nigga alone." I said playfully and Serena agreed with me. "And don't forget you only allowed one drink since you the DD."
Iyana pulled a whining face but agreed, leaning back against the bar.
"Aye, how y'all doing?" The bartender says as he flashes us a quick smile.
"Heyyy, we're doing good." We all say, smiling back at him and leaning over the counter. Iyana made sure that he got a good view of her cleavage, Jada and I playfully rolled our eyes because she clearly didn't listen to a damn thing we said. "What's your name?" She asked.
"Shit, my name Aaron. What's yours, beautiful?" he drawled, eyes lingering on her and then the rest of our group.
"Iyana," she purred, fluttering her lashes and giving him her best sultry look. "But Aaron, can you hook us up with some shots? We celebratin' tonight 'cause my girl Jada finally getting marrieeeed!!" she squealed and we all hugged our arms around Jada, making her giggle.
"Ayeee Congratulations, Jada!" Aaron said, grinning at her and then he quickly got to work, reaching up for the big bottle of Hennessy.
While he was busy pouring our drinks, Serena and Iyana talked some, then Jada looked at me, whispering in my ear. "Before you even say something, yes. Iyana stays horny." And we busted out laughing, our laughter echoing over the loud music.
