The story of a girl
who falls in love with a boy

Time goes on
and she grows with it
believing that love is touch
and if you can't fall into an embrace
you can never fall into love.
Then she meets a boy
who lives on the internet.
Whose life is his music
and who loves the dark walls of his room.
And they don't touch for years
but in that time,
she does fall in love.
With his sense of humor
and his smile on their video calls.
The way his eyes light up when she says hello
and the way he makes her laugh so much,
she doesn't notice she's blushing.
It takes her two days to say she returns his affection
and six years later she's still getting over how overwhelming it is
so she's got raccoon eyes walking down the aisle.
Too many years later
she dies holding his hand
and smiling to the boy in her head
who she thought she couldn't love.
Who occasionally left her mind
to make way for other things.
But who she could never
ever
escape.
We went deep down for this one. It took longer than usual and almost brought tears as I was also thinking about Colleen and Joshua Evans' wedding at the time. Weddings always make me cry and I am just so happy for them. This reminds me of the story of how they met. Shoutout to you :')
