I do, and then I wish I wasn't me.
I'd really give my all to stop the feeling
that floods my heart and drowns me in my sleep.
I wish I wasn't born in such a human form;
it makes me wonder why I have to be.
I really wish I knew why we have to leave so soon
or why it's when we have so much to give.
But we only find out after we are gone too
and oftentimes we haven't fully lived.
So if you ever let that feeling get the best of you
you've always got a chance at being free.
But don't ever choose that chance unless you have to
and if it's better to be happy in your sleep.
