A Poem

The air freezes over
But my heart is less than cold
When you throw this winter up it falls
And sunlight melts the snow.
I sit inside alone all day
Killing what won't walk away
But I can't make you sit or stay
So I watch you go.
I float outside my body
As it turns to black and white
And if my eyes retreat to yellow
Just make me come alive.
