So now the man has Yuuji cooking him homemade food, and the man might or might not have gotten addicted to it already. What was the possibility, though? He just randomly decided that this boy would be his wife, and boom! It turns out he hit the jackpot?! It's like Yuu-chan was made for it. Thank gods, Satoru was the first to call dibs. Now he has someone who actively checks his food choices and pays attention to the amount of calories every day, whining about him eating proper meals. Because Yuuji quickly noticed the man’s sugar addiction, the boy started baking too. Just what kind of ideal wife did Satoru get himself accidentally?

Also, the fact that the man has someone waiting for him, always happy to see him, talk to him, be with him… Before his wife, Satoru didn't even realize how lonely he was and how people around him treated him half-heartedly. It's like the man found another side of humanity inside himself, Yuu-chan effortlessly showing him what a real healthy connection with someone is.

Yuuji is almost as affectionate as Satoru himself, and the man decided pretty quickly to put down his limitless technique around the boy, so they could touch more. If not by leaning on each other, then at least with handholding, patting, or petting. And it all feels just natural to both of them. A simple touch brings comfort and leaves them content. Amazing.

Their personalities and needs are so alike, it's hard to believe they met only two weeks ago. But thanks to it, everyone around them doesn't question their relationship. It must show in the way they simply enjoy their own company.

Then also comes the fact that Satoru is Yuuji's teacher, so they spar together, the man teaching his wife about jujutsu, always proud of every progress, even the smallest. Having the boy by his side, as The Strongest, feels good. Reassuring. Maybe Yuu-chan still has a long way before him, but he has potential and motivation. And Satoru believes in Yuuji.

The most important thing is that Satoru can finally breathe freely. Because when he is with his wife, he doesn't have to pretend to be someone else. And he is fully accepted, just like that.

But then two weeks pass, and Satoru actually gets an invitation from family to bring his wife for an official introduction. And he can't refuse.

The small issue, though.

They invited them for a three-day stay.

Which means nosy people looking into their love and bed lives since the Gojou family wants, well, a baby.

The man grins right after reading the paper. Let's see how far his sweet wife is willing to go with that role.

~◑~◑~

Yuuji doesn't even remember what his life looked like before eating Sukuna's finger. Such a lot of different things happened so fast and suddenly that he just let it all play itself. But, thankfully, his husband was there to give Yuuji his support.

It's still so weird to think about him like this. “My husband.” Yuuji groans in his mind, embarrassed. But Satoru, or, simpler, Toru, doesn't really feel like a husband at all. Not a teacher, either. A friend also doesn't describe the way this man makes Yuuji feel safe and assured. But does it matter? Toru is Toru, after all. Same with Yuuji being Yuu-chan. Did his husband choose this nickname so it would sound more feminine? The boy noticed how Toru is having fun trolling everyone around about their marriage.

Okay. Yuuji is having a bit of fun too. Not only because he can actually act like a protagonist in a drama, but because it's hilarious. Also, seeing Toru enjoying it is just nice.

The boy doesn't think of himself as a wife, but Toru likes to tease him a lot about being great at it, spouting nonsense about Yuuji making an ideal example of everything all men want to have. Like he would believe it! The boy quickly realized that his husband’s words shouldn't be taken too seriously.

There are moments when Toru becomes solemn, though, and the gap is so wide that Yuuji never knows how to react then. But he's getting used to it. And to everything else.

For example, when Yuuji agreed to marry Satoru, he wasn't aware of how rich his husband was. And now, by extension, the boy has a lot of money. Don't misunderstand. It's not just a lot of money. It's a lot of money. He's so afraid to touch it that he just buys things that he thinks will make his husband happy.

But Yuuji is kinda happy, too, he's not gonna lie. This life is unexpectedly comfy, even with learning jujutsu in the meantime. Staying with Toru and having his own room—a place to stay and to go back to—is just enough for the boy to feel content. He likes to have his husband around, even if the man, as an adult, needs Yuuji to survive—how Toru can screw up making simple toasts is beyond the boy.

Yuuji feels cared for, so he cares back equally. Getting used to each other was simple and natural to him. Toru is just so nice. The boy likes him a lot. Not The Strongest version of him, the one he needs to show around others. Just this clumsy adult drooling at the mochi on display, a silly man who, after taking Yuuji to the restaurant, wanted to buy it because the boy said they have delicious food. Yes, the entire restaurant. This version of Toru Yuuji likes the most.

Two weeks of their honeymoon phase pass in a blink, with the boy feeling at ease with his life.

Then his husband brings up the new assignment when they are relaxing after watching a movie, Toru on a couch, Yuuji on an armchair, and the boy gets a bit excited because…

“I can meet your family, Toru?” He asks curiously.

Yuuji is alone right now, with the Gojou family becoming his only relatives, so the thought of meeting them makes him thrilled. He's going to show his best side!

Toru raises his eyebrows and smiles. Oh, he's amused. “Of course, Yuu-chan~! They just may not be exactly what you are expecting.” He winces.

Yuuji frowns but shakes his head. “So? When are we going?” He is clapping his hands in anticipation, which makes Toru raise his eyebrows higher.

“On the weekend~!” His husband chirps. “We will spend two nights there~!” And he grins.

Oho?

The boy squints his eyes in suspicion. “Why are my guts telling me something is off, Toru?” He crosses his arms. “You are too happy about it. Don't leave me out of fun.” He pouts.
