“Of course we love her, Sukuna. She's our baby. Our beautiful daughter. Our little princess.” His wife sobs and hugs Kohaku closer, so Satoru joins in the embrace too.

Shouko comes a moment later, and after a few questions, they learn that those additional little fingers may be fully functioning on the girl's hand.

“I am going to monitor them, and we can always remove them surgically. But I think it won't be needed unless she would like to get rid of them herself in the future.” The woman smiles. “Everything went well with the birth; both the baby and the mother are in the best health, so I'm glad. But please, give me some break before the other one, hm?” She jokes, and they laugh.
______________

Six Eyes needs an entire five days, three missions, and one time spotting Sukuna breastfeeding Kohaku to realize that Yuuji is too exhausted to leave him alone for more than one hour, even if Uraume and his mother are helping as best as they can.

“Told you to kill those insane superiors of yours.” Sukuna points nonchalantly while the man glares at him, offended, putting the baby to sleep.

“Why is Yuu-chan not in control in the first place?” He mutters.

Sukuna sighs. “Yuuji is asleep in my domain, and believe me, I'm pushing his body to the limits right now.” He grimaces. “One small piece of advice, Gojou Satoru. The more this fool says that he is fine, the more he is not. So better take care of Yuuji now. He is not only tired from looking after your daughter. His body is still recovering after bearing a child.” Sukuna ends with a flat stare.

The white-haired man frowns and hums. “I guess it's time to bring Yuuta back and take a parental leave.” He grins. “Maybe I should just retire?” He wonders and hums again. “Anyway. Give me back my wife, Sukuna. I will put him to sleep too.”

So he does, and then observes how the entire small family cuddles together to sleep, satisfied.

Gojou Satoru keeps his word. A few days later, they meet a young special-grade sorcerer and his curse, who congratulates them in person about their marriage and daughter, promising to take over the man's responsibilities for the time being. That's how Yuuji becomes more comfortable and less stressed, with his husband constantly by his side. Sukuna is actually surprised to see Six Eyes looking after both Kohaku and his wife, helping with everything by getting lessons from his mother or Yuuji himself about simple tasks like diaper changing.

“You are hurting me, Sukuna~ I am the best, after all~ Of course, I would learn everything for my family's sake~” He intones, and Sukuna scowls.

“Toru, don't tease Sukuna too much.” Yuuji, the angel, placates softly, and his husband listens with a slight pout.

“Uraume, did you find my fingers?” He asks instead, and they bow instantly.

“I deeply apologize, Sukuna-sama, but I wasn't able to find all the fingers yet.” They bow even deeper.

“You are forgiven, Uraume, raise your head. Yuuji won't consume my fingers as long as he is breastfeeding, so there is still time.” Sukuna declares.

“Because we don't know how it would affect Kohaku?” The boy asks, and Sukuna grunts in affirmation.

“Wait. Why would you need your fingers?” Gojou Satoru butts in with a frown, lulling his daughter in his arms gently. “What are you plotting?” He squints his eyes.

Sukuna blinks. “To gain my own body, obviously.” He deadpans. “Someone needs to help Yuuji raise Kohaku. Someone more suited than you.” He adds with a sneer because he is petty.

“Wait, wait, wait. You want your own body to help us?” The white-haired man repeats in disbelief, his eyebrows raised.

Sukuna clicks his tongue. “Do you have problems with your hearing? I am willing to help my children.” He emphasizes it with a grumble, irritated.

“Isn't that great, Toru?” Yuuji, the angel again, sounds happy.

“My love, I'm not sure if this is a good idea.” Gojou Satoru says carefully.

Sukuna can feel the boy frowning. “But we have this binding vow, and Sukuna has to protect me and Kohaku-chan anyway.” He points.

“See, Six Eyes? I don't have a choice.” Sukuna smirks.

The conversation stops there, but after a small accident, it comes back more urgently, with a final agreement.

Because when Kohaku is four months old and Yuuji takes her for a regular walk to the nearby park in her stroller alone, there is a man there as if waiting for them, with dark long hair and, to Sukuna's instant alert, stitches on his forehead. He flares, ready to gain control and protect both of them, if necessary. Yet, to Sukuna's utter bewilderment, Kenjaku approaches them leisurely with the most polite smile he has ever seen him making.

“Oh, is the baby yours?” He asks casually, and Yuuji, the kind and friendly boy he is, stops to answer.

“Yes, that's my daughter.” He admits proudly, patting the sleeping baby with affection.

Kenjaku hums and leans to look at Kohaku closer, evidently curious. “She's beautiful.” He compliments, still smiling in this unnerving way. “You must be very glad to have such an amazing daughter, Yuuji.”

“Um, thank you, I'm actually very happy…” His voice dies out, and he grips the handle tighter. “I haven't told you my name, mister. Who are you?” Yuuji asks, his voice cold, with a hidden warning underneath.

Kenjaku looks up at the boy and chuckles. “Oh, don't worry. I won't hurt any of you.” He assures him and raises his hand.

Sukuna appears on Yuuji’s cheek and spits right at the man's face. “Don't you dare touch my children, Kenjaku.” He growls, enraged.

He blinks, pauses, and then starts cackling. “Your children?” Kenjaku echoes incredulously and laughs even more, almost crying. “That's hilarious.” He states and grins. “I see. Well, I got my answers already.” The man nods, amused. “I will move the plans a bit further, then. For my children’s sake. I have time, after all.” He ends with a mocking smile and leaves.

Sukuna scoffs. Of course. He should have expected that Kenjaku would be somehow involved in his and Yuuji's connection. How disgusting.

“Sukuna, who was that?” The boy asks quietly, and he can feel his uneasiness.

“Someone you should stay as far away as you can, Yuuji. Let's go home for now.” Sukuna orders, scowling.

He decides to not ponder about it more, focusing on his task instead, which is simple—protecting his family. Kenjaku is not a part of it.
