Their systems guy was still on the ground with a knee on his neck, his arms contained by one beefy hand and his face squashed to the ground by another beefy hand. I was silently pleased that they hadn't let him up and didn't care that the warrior was looking at me instead of the growling new Alpha who saw his man on the ground. Their Beta looked at Jack not the man on the ground and I noticed that the Alpha wasn't far behind to look at Jack.

Daniel stepped forward and their eyes looked at him. I could see the moment they noticed my small frame between all the big men and their eyes locked on mine. I didn't look down, no wolf could make me back down, I only did so for our Alpha and Beta out of respect for the people. Their titles meant nothing to me. The other Alpha growled at my disrespect and their Beta stepped closer. Daniel broke the heavy silence.

'Your man purposely evaded my security while his guard was talking to my men. He entered here to see Mowgli.'

The other men now all looked at Daniel. They obviously hadn't caught on yet. 'So? If he hasn't caught the Mowgli guy in here and didn't see his face, why is our man still on the ground?'

I giggled and all eyes shot to me. Our own pack smirked, even Mark. 'He did see Mowgli... This Girl!.. Hi, welcome to my territory. You will be spending a nice few, quiet, hours here while we determine if the mole originated in your pack.'

'You're a girl!' Their Alpha stated stupidly.

'And you have an idiot systems man who came in here when he had been clearly told to stay out. He admitted it. If your security guy hadn't cursed him out, he would have been a dead idiot already.' David snapped on my behalf. Daniel didn't seem to mind his son speaking for us.

'What he said.' I grinned boldly, high on the caffeine and sugar I had already consumed before my nano nap. 'Hello Red Lake people. We have found a mole in the system and someone hooked our network to the standalone. We were attacked by the hacker that has been mining the info... This is my domain and I am somewhat paranoid, so for the next few hours I will be looking at the security footage to find out whodunit. If it was the idiot on the floor' I didn't specify, they understood the implications. Their beta growled lowly and tried to stare me down. I stepped right past Daniel and Mark, into his considerable space and stared up at the angry man. Holding his eyes, I snarled.

'Have a good look! Yes, I am half your size and I am female. In our pack there aren't any other adults as small as me, but I am also a part of our Beta family... for a reason. Hell, half the teenagers are taller than I am but that doesn't mean they can take me. Thing is... you don't intimidate me, Big Man, so you can just stop your growling and posturing. I am Mowgli. The Dark Web is my Jungle. This is my space. All you need to do is just sit down, shut up and if you wish to complain, you can link your Alpha and not annoy shit out of us doing it. We are being nice to keep you alive, because you people now know my identity and you are not pack. You are the only people who know and aren't pack... Do you understand what I'm saying?'

He looked ashamed. His Alpha stepped up and held out his hand. 'I can't say that I understand what you do but I have heard enough over the last few days to know you are somewhat of a legend in the systems rooms of all species. It's an honour to meet you... Mowgli.'

He gestured to his Beta. 'This is Erik, my Beta. The idiot on the ground is Jasper.'

'I know. He introduced himself to my system a while ago.'

'Uh, okay. That's Gavin, one of my security. And the last guy is Jack, he runs our pack security. The rest of my people are locked up elsewhere.'

I looked at Jack and then asked his Alpha. 'Isn't that the Beta's job?'
