Cade's kiss was unlike anything she'd ever experienced before. Gray had never kissed her like that. Ever. His kiss made her toes curl and made her want more.

He'd started it gently, pressing his warm soft lips against hers, but then he was running his tongue against her lips, and she opened her mouth in a gasp, and his tongue was suddenly in her mouth. And the crazy thing was, anywhere his tongue touched, she could feel the tingles. And oh, those tingles felt amazing.

She'd frozen up at first, not sure what to think, but then his hand had come up and around her neck and she'd shut off her crazy thoughts, and relaxed, letting herself actually enjoy the kiss. And Cade seemed to know she was letting go because he intensified it a bit, fully exploring her mouth. She tentatively slid her own tongue into his and the next thing she knew, he was sucking on her tongue, which shot a bolt of pleasure through her.

He pulled back after several long moments, his eyes randomly glowing and Calypso stared back at him, blown away by the kiss. Cade had made her feel things she'd never felt before. Things she wanted to feel. She felt more alive now than she had in years, her whole body humming with desire. She needed more.

Without really thinking about it, she took a deep breath and leaned towards him, pressing her own lips to his, and felt a small sense of relief when he kissed her back, this kiss just as explosive as the last one. Both of Cade's hands came up, cupping her face as he deepened the kiss. She let him in again and he took full advantage, kissing her almost desperately.

Cade finally pulled back, though his hands were still cupping her face, as he stared at her. He leaned forward and kissed her again, a brush against her lips that was different from the others, but was still accompanied by the tingles. Then he dropped one hand.

Calypso stared back at him, shocked he'd kissed her like he had, like he'd been devouring her. If Gray had ever kissed her like that...  but he hadn't. Not once. She chewed on her lip again, lost in thought, and watched Cade's eyes dart down to her lips.

He leaned forward and nibbled on her bottom lip himself, his eyes on her. She let loose a small moan and Cade leaned his forehead against hers. "What are you thinking about Callie?"

She blinked. Did he really just call her that? She debated for a moment about telling him. His hand was still on her cheek, his forehead against hers. She smiled. Why was he so easy to relax around once she quit being her own worst enemy? "I've never been kissed like that."

He pulled back a bit. "Never?"

She shook her head and looked down, suddenly wishing she hadn't told him.

"Calypso, you were married, and he never kissed you like that?" he seemed shocked.

"No?"

"Did he ever have his tongue in your mouth?" he asked curiously.

"No."

He sat back, running his hand over his face.

"Maybe it's a werewolf thing?" she offered.

"No, it's most definitely not. Have you ever heard of a French kiss?" he asked, leaning back towards her.

Her eyes widened as she stared at him, comprehension hitting her hard and embarrassing her as she pulled away from him. "I've been so naïve."

"Nope, don't pull away," Cade murmured, moving over to her again. "Was he the only guy to ever kiss you?"

"No, but the other couple weren't like that either," she said. Her face was on fire. She wondered what Cade was thinking of her.

"Get out of your head, Callie," Cade whispered against her ear.

"I've been stuck in there for the last year," she murmured.
