Drinking the blood wasn't quite as bad as she thought it would be. She couldn't really taste it. Instead, it was a milkshake that tasted like, well, a milkshake. She just tried not to think about what was in it. The last thing she wanted to do was throw it back up and have to do it again. No thank you.

Cade watched her quietly, and she wondered exactly what he was thinking. They went to breakfast after that, which helped some, though her stomach was a bit queasy. She frowned, leaning against him while they ate.

"You okay?" Cade asked her.

"Yeah. Just a bit queasy," she replied. "I'm trying not to think about it. Talk to me about something else?"

"I have another pack visit scheduled it two weeks. I'd like for you to come with me. Maybe take a few extra days and we could just have a relaxing vacation. How would you feel about that?" Cade asked her.

"Where at?" Calypso asked curiously.

"Italy. The pack has a house there right on the Mediterranean we could stay in for a bit," Cade said, kissing her gently on the head.

"That does sound nice," Calypso agreed.

"It would be a relaxing time. You got a bathing suit?"

"I don't even know," she said with a giggle.

"Well, we need to find out. Otherwise, I'll have to take you shopping."

Once breakfast was over, they headed upstairs to their apartment again to relax for a bit. Cade brought her back to the bedroom and laid down on the bed, pulling her against him. "How are you feeling?"

"Still a bit queasy," she admitted.

"That should go away as you begin to change," Cade told her softly, nuzzling against her.

"How will I know?"

"You'll probably notice my scent first. Or your wolf might start talking to you," Cade told her.

"I think I just want to nap for a bit. I really feel off, Cade."

"Okay. Get comfortable. I'll lay here with you, love."

Calypso cuddled into his big strong arms, letting him wrap them around her as she rested her head against his chest and closed her eyes. The blood was most definitely upsetting her stomach and sleep seemed to be the best option right now so she hopefully could keep it down. The last thing she wanted to do was drink it again. She wasn't sure she'd be able to keep it down. And Daniel might kill her for causing him so many problems.

Her mind drifted, somewhere between wakefulness and dreamland, where everything was perfect and she was walking along, though she couldn't tell where. A beautiful cream-colored wolf suddenly appeared next to her, falling into step beside her. "Hello Calypso."

"Hi. Are you my wolf?"

"I am. My name is Clover. It's so good to finally meet you," Clover said happily.

"It's good to meet you too. Where are we?"

"In your mind. You're asleep. The blood didn't sit well with you, but given that we're carrying our mate's pup, it's not a big surprise," Clover said calmly.

"Wait." Calypso came to a stop and turned to the beautiful wolf. "I'm pregnant?"

"Yeah. Very newly, but yes."

"I'm dreaming, aren't I?" She had to be. There was no way she was actually pregnant.

"You are, but you really are pregnant. It's early enough though that you becoming a wolf won't affect the pregnancy. Why are you so shocked?" Clover asked. "Because we haven't completed the bond with our mate?"
