Inspired by Mark Tuan' song "Fallin'"

'There's no hiding how I feel'
Jeongin undoubtedly has something for one of his friends from his circle.

'I'm not tryna reinvent the wheel
But you pulled me out the dark'
"Hey, are you ok?" 10-year-old Hyunjin asked the crying Jeongin in front of him. Jeongin stared at Hyunjin's outstretched hand and hesitantly took it.

Jeongin was usually bullied by some of his classmates, but ever since Hyunjin stood up for him, no one would dare bother Jeongin again, and Jeongin couldn't be more thankful.

'So I'll give you my heart
Just to sweeten up the deal'

'Find your name in my conversations
That should tell you 'bout where my brain is'
For some reason, Jeongin would almost always mention the elder, in any type of topic. It's not like he can help it, his mind usually wanders off to Hyunjin no matter how serious or off-topic it is.

'I just want you around, prepare to double down
'Cause I'm so sick of playin' the field'
It's not new news that Hyunjin and Jeongin hangs out almost every week. Jeongin was always around Hyunjin, he always felt safe and secure with Hyunjin. He just hopes that Hyunjin thought the same with him.

'You really figured me out
Don't wanna mess this up
So all I can do is hold onto you'
Call it weird or whatever, but Jeongin would always wait for Hyunjin's good night texts before he sleeps, or when he would look forward for school because Hyunjin always buys him his favourite strawberry milk every Mondays and Wednesdays (cuz that's Jeongin hates those days the most).

The sound of laughter erupted over the room, everyone laughing except for Jeongin who was burying his face in his fox plushie Hyunjin got him for his birthday. "Innie, it's pretty obvious that you're in love with him."

Jeongin looked at Felix in shock, in love? Sure, Jeongin had a crush on Hyunjin, but was he really in love? Seungmin seems to sense the youngest's distress, because he said, "Don't worry, Innie, you still have time to figure out your feelings, don't rush things."

Jeongin smiled. He was really thankful for Seungmin (and Felix and Jisung too, dw). Thankful that in times like this, they were there with him.

'I can't get you off my mind'
Jeongin sighed, he couldn't focus on his math homework because he kept thinking of a person. These days, his mind has been about Hyunjin, Hyunjin, and Hyunjin.

Jeongin doesn't really mind though.
'And why would I even try?'

'Cause I've been waiting
For someone like you to save me'
"P-please, sto-op." 9-year-old sobbed as he watched 3 children rip all of his notebooks and breaking his precious color pencils he saved up to buy.

"STOP! GET AWAY FROM HIM!!" an angry voice called out, and Jeongin instantly knew who it belonged to. 'Hyunjin.'

'And, baby, you're right on time'

The bullies ran away, leaving Jeongin looking at his stuff in horror, all broken and dirty from being stamped on. Hyunjin approach the sobbing boy and gently hugged him.

"It's okay, Innie, I'm here, Hyung won't let you get hurt."

"B-but, my things." Jeongin started tearing up again.

The elder panicked a bit. "It's okay, Innie, I'll buy you new pencil colors!"

Jeongin stopped sobbing. "Really?. Hyunjin smiled. "Really."

'Like put me in the corner and I'll stay'
"Inniee, please stay longerr." Hyunjin whined as he pleaded for the younger to stay longer at his house. Jeongin gave a tired sigh. "Fine, but only until 9 pm, the college dorms closes and locks at 9.30."

"Yayy." Hyunjin chuckled.

'You make it hard for me to concentrate'
Sometimes, Jeongin wishes that Hyunjin wasn't stuck on his head all the time, he's doing his finals, for heaven's sake. Yet, here he was, wondering if Hyunjin was thinking about him, too.

Baby, I'm a fool for everything about you.'
Everything reminds Jeongin of Hyunjin. Canvases, hair ties, watermelons, autumn, sashimi, and others. Jeongin can't help but think because everything about the other was perfect.

Jeongin closed the cafe, locking it and making sure its safe before leaving to go to the park. He checked his things to make sure he had everything before heading off to his destination.

The walk to the park was peaceful. The autumn air was a bit chilly, but Jeongin had a coat and scarf so he felt really cozy.

He passed a few street lights and saw cars zooming by before he finally arrived to the park. There was no one else in the park other than one person on the park bench, waiting, their back facing Jeongin.

A mischievous grin tugged on Jeongin's lips as an idea popped up to his head. Slowly, he walked quietly towards the person, making sure not to step on anything.

When he was right behind the person, Jeongin shouted, "BOO!" while placing his hands on their shoulders.

The person turned around in surprise, before laughing and pulling Jeongin gently to sit next to him. Jeongin smiled and interwiened their hands.

"Happy 2 year anniversary, love." Hyunjin whispered, a smile carving on his beautiful face as he gave Jeongin a bouquet of lilies, Jeongin's favorite.

Jeongin smiled wider and tears fell out if his eyes. He then pulled Hyunjin in for a kiss, a kiss full of love and care.

2 years has passed since Jeongin finally had the courage to confess his feelings to Hyunjin, and 2 years had passed since Hyunjin said that he liked Jeongin, too.

Since then, Hyunjin and Jeongin had been in a relationship. Not much has changed in their actions, except that they had been more touchy and vocal on their thoughts, saying compliments and an occasional "I love you" to each other.

When the broke apart, Hyunjin planted a loving kiss on Jeongin's forehead, caressing his cheek while doing so.

"Happy 2 years, once again, I love you."

"I love you, too, Innie."

In this chapter, I decided to make Jeongin simp over Hyunjin, cuz I reread a few of my chapters and in most of them, Hyunjin was the bigger simp. So I decided to change that, so it doesn't get boring. :D
